Needed some reminders today of how far I’ve come in a year. And where I started at almost 400 lbs!! Life has been pretty nutty the last while and plans have had to change and pivot. But such is life. I’m still over here hitting the gym most days every week and trying to stay on track and look after my head. Just show up for myself & trying to be resilient and committed. 🙏❤️🦵🏻💪🏻✌️

Needed some reminders today of how far I’ve come in a year. And where I started at almost 400 lbs!! Life has been pretty nutty the last while and plans have had to change and pivot. But such is life. I’m still over here hitting the gym most days every week and trying to stay on track and look after my head. Just show up for myself & trying to be resilient and committed. 🙏❤️🦵🏻💪🏻✌️

I’ve been working hard at the gym and my nutrition for a while. And I’ve also had a few people mention to me lately that I’m looking very fit! Which is SOOO nice of them!! Certainly not something I would have felt even remotely comfortable doing 155lbs ago. Being almost 400 lbs I tried to hide from the camera & life. Am I perfect,where I want to be? HECK NO! But, I am trying hard to get there and be healthy & strong everyday! Thanks to my big fitness and Bari-family. 💪🏻🤗🥰

As I am just starting to get out of bed post concert night, my girlie is fast asleep in her bed back in Thunder Bay. :(. It’s SO hard having your kids so far away. She flew in like the wind on Thursday morning for a quick trip to Barrie then here yesterday for the concert & I drove her back to the airport at 4:30 am to go back up north. I cherish the times I get to spend with you @_.arica._. I am insanely proud of you,but this Momma Bear’s heart is stretched all over this country for her kids and I miss you already! LOL (but we sure had a fun night at Luke Combs!)

I still have visions of myself collapsing on my front yard in absolute disbelief and that horrible memory. You have missed SO much Dad. Life has a funny way of just moving along, but there’s SO much I wanted you to be a part of. Weddings, graduations,the kids getting their licenses,sports, babies….they have all grown up to be such wonderful young adults. Your youngest grand baby is almost a teenager !! LOL. You would be a “Great -Grandpa!” Can you believe that?! You were SOOO young. It’s not fair. 💔 I’ve tried not to let it occupy my head this holiday but it has. You would hate the cost of living right now ,and the global politics and how messed up the world is lately lol. And I’m sorry….but a Chuck’s burger is not $6 anymore (LOL). When I walked down the aisle at my wedding I saw Uncle Mark and Uncle Wally’s smiling faces & it gave me such comfort because you weren’t there. (You all look so alike lol). I hope you are doing ALL of the things you always wanted to up there that you couldn’t down here. I miss you SO much it hurts. I think of you every day. My volleyball star’s 17u team had such an amazing three days at OVA Provincials in Toronto!! They brought home a silver in D1T4!!! 🥈🏐⭐️ The all played SO well!!! Watching Juliette progress so much in volleyball this year has been a blessing. Perfecting the craft she loves and being such a shining example of sportsmanship,dedication,focus,commraderie and an athlete!!! I am SO proud of you my girl. Reach for the stars kiddo! I will always be right there beside you cheering you on the loudest! ❤️❤️❤️
