After a lot of thought, I’ve decided to sell my house.

I know a lot of people will assume it's because “I’m never home anyway,” but honestly… I was never home because I was trying to stay ahead of the debt that piled up after the pandemic. I’ve never been someone who liked owing money, and at some point I had to make the smart decision instead of the emotional one.

The good news is, the value of my house went up enough that I finally had an opportunity to reset my life financially and get back to feeling like myself again. And that part actually feels really hopeful.

A house is just a house. Even though I poured my blood, sweat, tears, time, creativity, and heart into this place, I know I can do it again someday — only smarter and wiser from everything I learned along the way.

My last day in the house will be May 28th, and I’ve been selling off the rest of my belongings, collections, and furniture. Funny enough, the new owners loved my decorating style so much they ended up buying most of the furniture and décor too… which honestly feels like a pretty nice compliment.

I’m staying in Florida because I truly love it here, and being close to the cruise industry makes sense for my career and future. I booked myself heavily for the rest of the year and I’m looking forward to working hard, resetting, and hopefully taking a little time for myself sometime in the new year.

When I’m actually off the road, I’ll be crashing with a friend near Clermont and trying to spend more time seeing friends whenever I can.

I’ll definitely miss my neighbors, lake life, and being able to walk outside and fish whenever I wanted. But I also know this isn’t the end of that chapter forever. One of my goals for the future is absolutely finding another place on a lake someday.

For now, I’m choosing to look at this as the start of a new adventure instead of the end of something.

I appreciate all the support more than you know. I’ll share more as things progress, but for now that’s really all I wanted to say. ❤️

So sad to hear Beetlejuice & Home Alone Star Catherine O’Hara Dies at 71. I met her when I was in the HBO comedy festival in Las Vegas.

She was so nice and easy to talk to. Not to mention a comedy legend!!!

Rob Little makes his triumphant return to Dr. Grins this weekend June 25-27! We hope you’re ready because we know we are. Head to our bio or stories and secure some seats for a laugh riot!
______

Rob Little’s outlook on life can be summed-up in two words: Pure Optimism. At a young age, he developed and nurtured an upbeat philosophy about life. In a recent interview he revealed, “In elementary school, kids would always pull food away from me at lunchtime saying mean, hurtful things like ‘Let go of my sandwich!’”

Fortunately, Rob’s ability to see things in a positive light, coupled with his desire to make people laugh, has served him well. While working for IBM, he deciding to take a huge risk. The Detroit-born comic sent out an ALL-company e-mail that read, “If you aren’t happy here, quit your job and follow your dream.” IBM promptly gave him his walking papers but this was a blessing for Rob and comedy lovers nationwide.

Watch Rob in action, and you’ll agree that he is one of the very best stand-up comedians in the country. A sketch comedy player on the Fox Sports Net Show, “The Best Damn Sports Show Period” and “Last Call with Carson Daly,” Little uses his training from the world famous Second City Comedy Club to create routines that are inventive, funny, spontaneous, and completely unique. He headlines all over the country, has appeared in national television commercials and on such shows as Comedy Central’s “Distraction,” Fox News and SiTV’s “Latino Laugh Festival.” He also earned a role on the CBS network summer hit series, “Fire me Please.”

Wow it's almost been 4 years to the minute that my mom passed away. There's not a day that goes by that I don't think about her and miss her terribly. Hell it didn't even seem like 4 years ago. I thought it was less.

Miss and Love you mom so much!

My neighborhood just threw me a going away party and I'm not gonna lie, I might be tearing up right now....

For the most part, I couldn't have asked for better neighbors. Of course there is always 1 or 2 that ruin a perfect score but for the ones that were great they were above and beyond great!

I feel very thankful to have had them for the past 6 years. The men alone in this neighborhood taught me more life skills than my own dad ever did! I am tearing up knowing this might be the last time I ever see them again but I'm also tearing up for how amazing they were to me and how grateful I am for their friendship and comradery they showed me in the time I lived here.

It was a beautiful time in my life and you all will be missed dearly.

I am on my 398th cruise right now. IT's my last Margaritaville at Sea for the year. I'd be lying if I said I wasn't super bummed about that. They have become like family here. Not only the staff but the guests. There are so many repeat cruisers that you get to know a bunch of them. The shows always rock and I love the food. Looking forward to next year which I already have a bunch booked.

Sometimes your name is up in lights, sometimes it’s on a piece of cardboard on the side of a street.

Not the best pics but got to see the Northern Lights the other night. The crazy thing is you couldn't see them with your naked eye. You had to put your phone on night mode and then when you take the picture you have to hold your phone still for a few seconds while it adjusts and takes the pic. And then you can see the lights. It was crazy!!!!
