This evening brought me so much joy (not just because I had a bath run for me & a foot massage 👀) @thebodyshop have absolutely smashed their festive ranges as always, & the sugarplum scent is 10/10 ✨NO NOTES✨ it also lasts on my skin for so long 👌 You truly know you’re getting great quality with the body shop 🫶 This is your sign to have a festive night in, put the decs up then reward yourself after with a lil pamper sesh! 2 YEARS?! IN LOVE?! Who woulda thought it?! We’re pretty locked in now lol, so I want to formally introduce you all to my partner Fern 💚🌿✨ There was truly no one reason why I decided to keep our relationship more ‘offline’, mainly just because I enjoyed having some privacy! (& some people online are nuts 👀) Fern in fact was much more open to sharing 😅 but I think I just wanted to wrap them in cotton wool & keep them safe! (There will still be privacy don’t get me wrong) The wonderful comments & messages from you all over the last 2 years about our relationship honestly warms the cockles of me old heart & being told that you’re so happy to see me happy means so much 🥹 so thank you guys✨ I always said in order for me to date someone seriously, they had to make my life significantly better, & I feel that tenfold. Every day is magic with you @fern_e97 (like, LEGIT. We still haven’t had an argument yet?! 🤯) I’ve never felt so loved, & loved so hard in return. Couldn’t let June pass by without saying HAPPY PRIDE to all my girls, gays & theys 🏳️‍🌈❤️ Exploring & discovering my sexuality (albeit slightly later in life) truly changed everything for me. Almost 2 years(!!) with my partner, & I genuinely fall more in love with them every single day. To me, our relationship really is the perfect combination of pure adoration & safety, unwavering support, & never ending excitement, fun & laughter. I feel lucky every daaaaamn day! There are SO many amazing new pieces in this season but I kinda just tried on the things I thought might fit me 🙄 Some hits & some misses, but always good to try things on that might not necessarily be your normal size, you could be surprised! I am SO many other things; funny, compassionate, fiercely loving, sensitive, stubborn, thoughtful, a terrible timekeeper, chaotic, honest, great at advice, awful at taking said great advice, a perfectionist, a fantastic girlfriend, great at putting an outfit together, modest (😏) ..the list goes on 😂 ‘Fat’ is simply a descriptor and has no bearing on any of the things that make me who I am. Can we please take the focus off the size of our god damn bodies, it’s legit boring!! Of course, there’s nothing wrong with wanting to change something about your body, but you are not a project that only deserves respect when you’ve reached your ‘goal’. Your body is always worthy of respect, whatever stage it’s in. So, whilst I may not be what young me envisioned, actually, I am SO much more. I hope I can play a tiny part in helping women & girls care less about the crazy, unrealistic, societal pressure to shrink themselves (in EVERY sense). I hope to encourage them to be unapologetically themselves, & at the very least, exist in a body free of self hatred and shame. 🖤

Hello friends!! Well and truly got violently struck down by the January scaries but figured it’s never too late to share a couple of wholesome Christmas/December posts - so here’s pt.1, fashionably late as always 🤡 luv u all x I LOVE CHRISTMAS & I’m still mourning that it’s over 🥲
If you were to ask me ‘what’s the first thing you’d save if your flat was on fire?’ ..the answer would always be this original photobooth strip of my Nan & Poppa. It’s one of my favourite things in the world & I’ve had it by my bedside for years! I feel like the love between them just radiates through the camera 🥹 (I’m not even sure now how old it is, as neither of them are still with us to ask, but at least 60 years?!) When I saw a while back that @stillsautomat.edinburgh had Scotlands only analogue photobooth (dating back to 1925!), I always thought, when I fall in LOVE love, I’ll recreate my favourite photo with my favourite person. (literally sickeningly cheesy but it’s true 🥲) Anyway we did that today, & it made me so happy. It’s not perfect but thats what gives it charm lol Swipe to the end to see the first failed attempt, we were done so dirty by the first photo, can’t see anything else but chins 😂 safe to say, we don’t have their jawlines 👹
