This evening brought me so much joy (not just because I had a bath run for me & a foot massage 👀) @thebodyshop have absolutely smashed their festive ranges as always, & the sugarplum scent is 10/10 ✨NO NOTES✨ it also lasts on my skin for so long 👌 You truly know you’re getting great quality with the body shop 🫶 This is your sign to have a festive night in, put the decs up then reward yourself after with a lil pamper sesh! 2 YEARS?! IN LOVE?! Who woulda thought it?! We’re pretty locked in now lol, so I want to formally introduce you all to my partner Fern 💚🌿✨ There was truly no one reason why I decided to keep our relationship more ‘offline’, mainly just because I enjoyed having some privacy! (& some people online are nuts 👀) Fern in fact was much more open to sharing 😅 but I think I just wanted to wrap them in cotton wool & keep them safe! (There will still be privacy don’t get me wrong) The wonderful comments & messages from you all over the last 2 years about our relationship honestly warms the cockles of me old heart & being told that you’re so happy to see me happy means so much 🥹 so thank you guys✨ I always said in order for me to date someone seriously, they had to make my life significantly better, & I feel that tenfold. 2 YEARS?! IN LOVE?! Who woulda thought it?! We’re pretty locked in now lol, so I want to formally introduce you all to my partner Fern 💚🌿✨ There was truly no one reason why I decided to keep our relationship more ‘offline’, mainly just because I enjoyed having some privacy! I used to DREAD buying clothes for holiday. Then I decided to stop worrying about how to cover my body, & started wearing clothes that I LOVED & made me feel good!! By no means do I judge ANYONE for wanting to lose weight. I always have & will believe in body autonomy. But I know being inundated with seeing shrinking bodies in the media, can make you question whether you need to change too. If you’re happy as you are, then just know you don’t need to do a thing. You’re perfect the way you are. LOVE YOU 🫶

There are SO many amazing new pieces in this season but I kinda just tried on the things I thought might fit me 🙄 Some hits & some misses, but always good to try things on that might not necessarily be your normal size, you could be surprised! All I strive for in life is to be the kind of woman that little Poppy would meet & be like, ‘she’s so f*ckin cool’ …& honestly I think I’ve nailed the brief bby 🫶 Interestingly (& upsettingly), if you’d have asked little me what she’d wish for her future, it probably would have been to be skinny. Now at 33, ya girls still fat (soz lil Pops 😅) But being fat certainly doesn’t define me. I am SO many other things; funny, compassionate, fiercely loving, sensitive, stubborn, thoughtful, a terrible timekeeper, chaotic, honest, great at advice, awful at taking said great advice, a perfectionist, a fantastic girlfriend, great at putting an outfit together, modest (😏) ..the list goes on 😂 ‘Fat’ is simply a descriptor and has no bearing on any of the things that make me who I am. Can we please take the focus off the size of our god damn bodies, it’s legit boring!! Of course, there’s nothing wrong with wanting to change something about your body, but you are not a project that only deserves respect when you’ve reached your ‘goal’. Your body is always worthy of respect, whatever stage it’s in. So, whilst I may not be what young me envisioned, actually, I am SO much more. I hope I can play a tiny part in helping women & girls care less about the crazy, unrealistic, societal pressure to shrink themselves (in EVERY sense). I hope to encourage them to be unapologetically themselves, & at the very least, exist in a body free of self hatred and shame. 🖤
