2 YEARS?! IN LOVE?! Who woulda thought it?! We’re pretty locked in now lol, so I want to formally introduce you all to my partner Fern 💚🌿✨ There was truly no one reason why I decided to keep our relationship more ‘offline’, mainly just because I enjoyed having some privacy! (& some people online are nuts 👀) Fern in fact was much more open to sharing 😅 but I think I just wanted to wrap them in cotton wool & keep them safe! (There will still be privacy don’t get me wrong) The wonderful comments & messages from you all over the last 2 years about our relationship honestly warms the cockles of me old heart & being told that you’re so happy to see me happy means so much 🥹 so thank you guys✨ I always said in order for me to date someone seriously, they had to make my life significantly better, & I feel that tenfold. Normally I find @marksandspencer really dependable to go up to a 20/22 in store but this one was severely LACKING! Now at 33, ya girls still fat (soz lil Pops 😅) But being fat certainly doesn’t define me. I am SO many other things; funny, compassionate, fiercely loving, sensitive, stubborn, thoughtful, a terrible timekeeper, chaotic, honest, great at advice, awful at taking said great advice, a perfectionist, a fantastic girlfriend, great at putting an outfit together, modest (😏) ..the list goes on 😂 ‘Fat’ is simply a descriptor and has no bearing on any of the things that make me who I am. Can we please take the focus off the size of our god damn bodies, it’s legit boring!! Of course, there’s nothing wrong with wanting to change something about your body, but you are not a project that only deserves respect when you’ve reached your ‘goal’. Your body is always worthy of respect, whatever stage it’s in. So, whilst I may not be what young me envisioned, actually, I am SO much more. I hope I can play a tiny part in helping women & girls care less about the crazy, unrealistic, societal pressure to shrink themselves (in EVERY sense). I hope to encourage them to be unapologetically themselves, & at the very least, exist in a body free of self hatred and shame. 🖤
