📍Icefields Parkway ⬇️ Stretching 232 km between Lake Louise and Jasper, this drive takes about 3 hours without stops… but trust me, you’ll want 4–6 hours (or more) to soak it all in. Glaciers, turquoise lakes, waterfalls & endless mountain peaks, wildlife sightings and views that look straight out of a movie… 🗺️ Here are some of my favourite stops between Banff and Jasper: – Vermilion Lakes – Backswamp Viewpoint – Hillsdale Meadow Viewpoint – Morant’s Curve – Lake Louise – Crowfoot Glacier Viewpoint – Bow Lake Viewpoint – Peyto Lake Viewpoint – Mt Patterson / Snowbird Glacier Viewpoint – Waterfowl Lakes Viewpoint – Howse Pass Viewpoint – Weeping Wall Viewpoint – Panther Falls – Athabasca Glacier – Sunwapta Falls – Goats & Glacier Lookout – Athabasca Falls – Athabasca Pass Lookout Important road trip tip ⛽️ There are very limited gas stations along the route, mainly at Lake Louise, Saskatchewan River Crossing, and Jasper.
