House Updates: Interlude - Proposal Day 💍 this was my favorite day of the house build. It was our 7th year anniversary. We spent the whole day hanging out for our anniversary. He did a scavenger hunt with index cards, taking me to different places that we went to when we dated at 19 and when we met up with each other 8 years later. The final destination was our house and it was so special. I went back and found this video of us the first year we started dating all those years later when we met up again in 2015. We were playing around and he fake proposed with this massive ring that held candy. It’s pretty crazy how similar the videos are, I basically can’t stop laughing. 🥹

House Updates: 🏠 we started focusing on the outside while we waited for the architect and engineer to sign off on our plans which took months. In the meantime, we found our water well 💧, had the city come and remove a street lamp that was in our backyard. I kind of miss it now. We removed some trees and leveled the backyard. We need a name for our hawk friend 🪶

A skunk family comes through and tries eating the food I leave out for the cats when I’m in LA visiting friends. So I spent my Saturday night trying to get the baby one to eat out of my hand and it was close but a finger nose boop was good enough for me. It was SO SOFTTT. It backed up bc I couldn’t hold back my breathing and sounds from excitement bc I already started crying when it touched me lmao. Since I probably won’t have children, my plans for when my house is done is to be the mom of the street that feeds all the animals, because I would like a baby raccoon next. Also want a fox.
