I was able to tour the aquarium behind the scenes and learn how the aquarists and staff take care of the aquatic animals. ✨Nana Morrison’s Soul Food 📍3824 Corning Pl A, Charlotte, NC ▪️Large Plate ($26.99) - fried catfish, fried chicken, mac + cheese, collard greens, and cornbread. The fried catfish filet was a perfect size, crispy, hot, and well-seasoned along with the fried chicken. Loved every bite. The mac and cheese and collards were impressive. The collard greens did not appear to be canned, was seasoned well while the mac and cheese had a good blend of flavors (cheese + seasoning). The cornbread roll was decent, but I personally like my cornbread to be moist and sweet like a cake. ✨Jeremiah’s Italian Ice 📍3842 Corning Pl C, Charlotte, NC ▪️S’Mores – (Medium - $5.19) - Cookie Butter Italian Ice, Chocolate Italian Ice, Swirl Soft Ice Cream and Cookie Butter Crumbles - Loved every spoonful. 📝Other Recommendations: Double Fudge Brownie, Birthday Cake

iEAT$$ (Part X): YoCo Taste Trail Edition- Hosted by Visit York County, this week-long culinary celebration (August 20th – August 27th) gives residents and visitors the chance to indulge in multiple restaurants across a diverse food scene. Ay Papi Tacos + Tequila and Elk Ave Tavern are two of the fourteen participating restaurants, both located in Downtown Rock Hill. ✨Highly Recommended 💜Miss Black Foodie Fave 💰This menu item is not a featured dish on the YoCo Taste Trail menu.
