LAUREL PARK – This is your friendly reminder that elevated casual dining can be a midday lunch reset. Located in Charlotte’s South Park neighborhood, this restaurant has five components to help make the lunch hour one of relaxation: hearty comfort dishes, tantalizing sips, a covered patio for those needing fresh air, a calm atmosphere for indoor dining, and excellent service. 📍4201 Congress St. Ste. 190, Charlotte, NC ▪️Hours: Lunch: (M-F) 11:30AM - 2:30PM, Dinner: (Sun-Sat) 5PM – 10PM, Brunch: (Weekends) 10:30AM- 3PM ▪️The restaurant is located behind/ attached to the Rotunda building. There is parking in front of the restaurant and in the parking garage.   ✨Highly Recommended 💜Miss Black Foodie Fave   💜 Lavender Lemon Drop Martini – Tito’s, Cointreau, house lavender syrup, lemon – the lavender taste overshadows all others, so this martini is perfect for lavender lovers like me.   ▪️SPIRIT FREE 💜 Elevated Apple – Pink Lady Apple Kombucha, rosemary-honey syrup, apple juice – perfect amount of sweetness. ✨ Deviled Eggs - applewood smoked bacon, chives – The deviled eggs without any of the added components are traditional deviled eggs. It is imperative that you eat the deviled eggs with the sliced pickle and pickled red onions as it elevates the flavor profile from traditional to TADOW. ✨ Korean Fried Chicken - Korean buttermilk fried chicken, local lettuce, pickled carrot & daikon, Chef’s family sauce, gochujang aioli, house made brioche – This sandwich wasn’t heavy on the spice as it leaned towards the sweeter side. Since I’m not either, it was a winner on my tongue.      💜 Mafaldine-  grilled shrimp, Calabrian cream, pistachio gremolata – this dish shines in so many areas. Plentiful portion, generous amount of large shrimp, while the pistachios provide added crunch and the nutty flavor enhances the dish’s savoriness. This dish is one of the best I’ve tasted this year and will be my go-to on future visits. 💜 Lime Blueberry Entremet - white chocolate crunch, almond cake,  blueberry jam, lime crème mousseline – I loved all components of this dessert, but the saltiness in the crust i

The restaurant is very stylish with an atmosphere I would call upscale casual. I was highly impressed by not only the menu offerings, but also the taste and presentation of the menu items I ordered. 📍489 S. This is one of the best mac + cheese dishes I’ve ever eaten at a restaurant. It is all because of the smoky cheesy flavor of the cheese sauce. This will be a staple at every visit.
