The fried catfish filet was a perfect size, crispy, hot, and well-seasoned along with the fried chicken. Loved every bite. The mac and cheese and collards were impressive. The collard greens did not appear to be canned, was seasoned well while the mac and cheese had a good blend of flavors (cheese + seasoning). The cornbread roll was decent, but I personally like my cornbread to be moist and sweet like a cake. ✨Jeremiah’s Italian Ice 📍3842 Corning Pl C, Charlotte, NC ▪️S’Mores – (Medium - $5.19) - Cookie Butter Italian Ice, Chocolate Italian Ice, Swirl Soft Ice Cream and Cookie Butter Crumbles - Loved every spoonful. 📝Other Recommendations: Double Fudge Brownie, Birthday Cake

The dishes were judged based on taste and flavor, presentation, creativity, use of local ingredients, and overall impression. 🏆The Clover Harvest Team took home the win, receiving a trophy, a full page feature in Visit York County’s Destination Guide and a $250 US Foods credit voucher.

KRAVE 489 - I started a new job on March 2nd, so I decided to celebrate with a solo dinner at the grand opening of the newest restaurant in Rock Hill, which was held on Wednesday, March 4th. The restaurant is very stylish with an atmosphere I would call upscale casual. I was highly impressed by not only the menu offerings, but also the taste and presentation of the menu items I ordered. 📍489 S. Herlong, Ste 10-11, Rock Hill, SC 💻 katchseafood.com 📲 @krave.489 ✨Highly Recommended 💜 Miss Black Foodie Fave ▪️MOCKTAILS: 💜Strawberry Daiquiri ($8) 💜Krave Punch ($8) ▪️SMALL PLATES: 💜Street Corn Ribs ($10) - served with chipotle crema, Cotija cheese and cilantro - excellent texture and flavor 💜Crispy Calamari ($14) - House-bread calamari, blistered tomatoes, banana peppers, served with zesty remoulade. - Loved the crispiness, well-seasoned. ▪️ENTREES: ✨Lamb Burger ($18) - Whipped feta, roasted red peppers, 6-oz. lamb patty, arugula - served medium and the flavor paired well with the whipped feta ✨Tempura Lobster Roll ($34) - Tempura-battered lobster, ginger miso aioli, spicy mayo - Plentiful amount of lobster, great combination of flavors. ▪️SIDE (S): 💜Mac + Cheese ($8) - a shareable dish for 2-3. This is one of the best mac + cheese dishes I’ve ever eaten at a restaurant. It is all because of the smoky cheesy flavor of the cheese sauce. This will be a staple at every visit.
