If you’d told me when I was invited to Paris to see Dyson’s newest innovation that it would be an electric toothbrush with a built-in camera AND a conical jet flosser, I genuinely wouldn’t have guessed it but, here we are! 🪥 🦷 I’ve only used it twice so far and the only way I can describe it is that it leaves your mouth feeling ✨ fresssssh ✨ I can’t wait to use the camera feature 👀 Very luckily AD/Gifted as I’m a @dyson brand ambassador #dyson #dysontoothbrush #camerajet @dysonbeauty

Welcome to my bathroom - very kindly named “impractical” by many 😅 let me show you around… First a little reminder of where we started (there wasn’t anything ‘wrong’ with this bathroom it just wasn’t our vibe). We went from this… To this…I mean, c’mon! I’ve wanted one of these Trone Orbe sinks for yeaaaars!! This is probably the thing most people say is impractical, and I agree. The bowl area itself is pretty small and there is no plug to actually stop it draining. But I still LOVE it! 🤩 I had this floating vanity custom made. It’s a timber carcass clad with stainless steel - basically one BIG drawer, so plenty of storage. I did actually get a design etched into the steel, but when it arrived in person I hated it - after hours and days of sanding it down, we got there (well Thom got there) 🙏 Stainless steel has a lot of pros for being in the bathroom (I think) buuuuuut you have to be willing to deal with smudges and marks! The star of the show - the green & pink walk-in shower. This is essentially the same size as the old shower, but one thing I hated with the old shower was the lack of storage. So, I knew I wanted a pony wall… …with a hidden recess so we can hid all our not so aesthetic products… …and then a display recess purely to display our more aesthetically pleasing products, because I’m that extra 🤭 A HUGE bath was a must! I initially wanted a Water Monopoly one (iykyk) but the lead times were insane! I went for this ‘Senator’ one with ball feet instead. It actually turned out to be much better, it’s slightly larger, which means I can enjoy it without any need to bend my knees 🥹 Trying to find nice heated towel rails is actually so difficult - I was a bit skeptical about these Eskimo Gordon ones. However I’ve been really pleasantly surprised, it kind of blends into the background, and kicks out quite a bit of heat 🔥 If you’re going to do a WC you may as well go big…pink everywhere kind of big! 🚽 Can we just take a moment for this toilet 🤩 - it’s from the same brand as the sinks. This is another one of the things lots of you have said is impractical - and yeah, probably agree. The flush on these toilets is pretty w

Let me show you some things I’ve done in my 120 year old home that I LOVE…the internet, not so much 👀 #interiordesign #dopaminedecor The before W/C - did what it needed to. The basin was too big which meant to door didn’t open properly 🚽 I made it into on big pink delight. With the toilet, basin (which people say resembles something else, but I’m not saying), tiles and paint all matching the perfect shade of pink 🤩 The before - I love this stain glass, but the white contrast felt too cold… I took inspiration from the colours in the glass to match the hallway design - Pinks, yellows, greens and purples. Added a mirror to help bounce the natural light and swapped out the lighting with handcrafted Murano pendant lights 💡 The before - I was so happy to at least see the old detailing in the archway and banister (which I eventually would like to be restored). But everything else, not my vibe… I struggled to find a carpet I really liked, so, ended up getting one custom made from a rug design I loved…so happy with it. Eventually the tiles will be replaced! The before - nothing was really ‘wrong’ with the bathroom. It just wasn’t my taste at all, always reminded me of being on a ship 🚢 and the bath tub was actually SO small… I had a HUGE tub installed - now I can dunk my entire body without any overspill 🏊‍♀️ The before - I actually did like this vanity; well the ceramic part. The taps were leaking, the base was rusty and there was no storage… I had to get this stainless steel vanity custom made, I just couldn’t find one anywhere!! It’s basically one massive drawer, which is GREAT The before - the shower had unsealed tiles and no where to hide products… I fell in love with the colours of these zellige tiles. So naturally got them all over the entire bathroom. Plus added a pony wall to the shower so product can be hidden away 👏 The before - this is the only outside space we have, perfect for Kevin, but it didn’t really feel nice to sit in… I picked out these amazing tiles to retile the log storage and make use of the plug socket already installed for a summer coffee bar ☕️ The before - this room is south facing and gets plenty of light
