I present to you the Cambridge Busway… where buses run on tracks 😂

It works using a guided busway system, allowing buses to travel along a dedicated concrete track before rejoining normal roads. Definitely one of the coolest transport systems I’ve come across in the UK.

Shoutout to @networknathan who covered this on his YouTube channel!

Loved Cambridge!

Don’t miss this whilst travelling on the tube!

If you’ve ever walked through the corridor between the Jubilee and Piccadilly lines at Green Park, pay close attention to the tiled walls. As you walk through, the colours gradually change, subtly guiding you from one line to the other without you even thinking about it.

It’s one of those clever design touches that most people walk straight past, but once you notice it, you’ll never unsee it.

What other cool design features have you seen on the Tube?

Did you know this about the Tube?

One of my favourite details on the London Underground can be found on the Victoria line. Each of its 16 stations has its own unique mural inspired by the history, culture or name of the area.

Some are fairly obvious. Brixton has a ton of bricks, Victoria has Queen Victoria and King’s Cross features crowns forming a cross. But others tell stories you may never have known, from Highbury & Islington’s historic manor to Walthamstow’s connection to William Morris.

It’s a reminder that London is full of little details hiding in plain sight.

Next time you’re commuting, keep your head up. You never know what you might spot.

The thing is with Richmond Park, you always think you’ve seen it all.

But I promise you haven’t.

Today I present to you Pembroke Lodge Gardens in Richmond Park, and if I had one word to describe this place, it would be remarkable.

Stunning. Absolutely gorgeous.

I wasn’t even planning to make a video here but, as you can clearly see, I couldn’t help myself.

From the beautifully kept flower gardens and peaceful walking paths to the incredible views stretching across the Thames Valley, this is one of those places that reminds you just how special London can be.

If you’re visiting Richmond Park, make sure you add Pembroke Lodge Gardens to your list.

Come through but until then find a hidden gem near you 💎

Booked this on an absolute whim, and this was one of the best 24 hours I’ve spent in a long time.

I recently spent a day on the Isle of Wight, and it was absolutely fantastic. But before I even talk about the Isle of Wight, let’s talk about the journey there.

The ferry ride was phenomenal. I could not have chosen a better time to do this. The sunset, the Friday night vibe… absolutely fantastic.

From what I know, Whitlink is one of a number of services connecting mainland England and the Isle of Wight, and the service I chose was from Portsmouth to the Isle of Wight, which only took 20 minutes.

But honestly, I would’ve been happy if it took 30. It was that good.

It dropped me right into a brilliant part of the Isle of Wight, and I genuinely couldn’t have asked for a better start to the trip.

Super excited to share more of my journey here, but until then… don’t just find the destination, enjoy the journey too.

Yeah, southeast London does views the absolute best.

So thank you to everyone who recommended Canonbie Road. This road was truly incredible. The views were remarkable. It genuinely feels like you can almost inhale the view from up here.

I’ve visited a lot of viewpoints across southeast London, but I have to say it… this is number one. This is number one. This is number one.

There are so many great spots across Lewisham and southeast London, but this one has just taken the top spot for me.

If you’re local to the area, definitely take a detour down Canonbie Road. Just be mindful that it is a residential street, so please respect the people who live here.

Crystal Palace is honestly one of the most underrated parts of South London. It’s also easily one of the most historically rich areas in South London 🤩🤩🤩

Back in the Victorian era it was one of the most prestigious places in the city, home to the famous The Crystal Palace after the Great Exhibition. Even today you can still see pieces of that legacy in places like the famous Crystal Palace Dinosaurs 🦖

It’s also one of those places everyone’s heard of… but when you actually ask people where it is, most can’t quite place it 😂

Sitting between five South London boroughs, the area has this unique mix of cultures, history and proper local energy. You get that inner-London energy from the Lambeth and Southwark sides, mixed with a more suburban feel from the Bromley and Croydon sides!

If you’re exploring, here are a few spots worth checking out:

Bakery: @chatsworthbakehouse
Chinese: Tofu East Asian Canteen
Breakfast: @bloomcafe.crystalpalace
Pizza: @bar.palazzo
@morleysuk (I love youuu) & many more.

Other cool places to wander through include the Garden Centre, Crystal Palace National Sports Centre, the Dinosaur Park, and the Crystal Palace Food Market & Vintage stalls.

If you’ve never wandered around Crystal Palace properly… take your time and give it an explore. There’s always something new to discover 💎.

The Isabella Plantation in Richmond is back in bloom 🌸✨

This is one of the most beautiful natural occurring phenomena in London

The Isabella Plantation is full of azaleas, which blossom around April and May 🌺

And the collective collection of these azaleas brings the most beautiful display of flowers and bushes you will see in the city

It is completely free to visit 🙌🏾

It’s located in Richmond Park 📍

The best way to get here is via the Bloomfield Gate in Richmond Park, which can be accessed by the 85 bus or the K3 bus, getting off at Warren Road 🚌

It’s about a 5 minute walk from Bloomfield Gate

You have a couple of weeks to check this out!!!

Come through,

But until then, find your hidden gem 💎

I don’t think people realise how much hidden history we have here in South London.

Have you ever noticed how many places across South London have names connected to woods or trees? Think Norwood, Forest Hill, Honor Oak and Woodside. That’s not a coincidence.

Hundreds of years ago, much of this part of London was covered by the Great North Wood, a vast ancient forest that stretched across what are now many of South London’s best known neighbourhoods.

Even today, its legacy lives on. Many of the parks we enjoy and the place names we use every day are reminders of the landscape that existed long before the roads, railways and boroughs were built.

It’s one of those stories that completely changes the way you look at South London.

think we all forget that there are boats literally running up and down London 🤯

It is absolutely crazy to think that we can opt to take the boat instead of the bus or train sometimes.

Across London’s river, you have various boats running up and down the city, almost like river buses in their own right (funnily enough, they’re actually called river buses).

It’s such a cool way to see the city 🌊

We’ve got the RB6, which runs from Barking to Waterloo, hitting all the main landmarks in London.

You’ve got Greenwich Peninsula, the National Maritime Museum, the Royal Observatory Greenwich, Cutty Sark, even The O2 Arena at North Greenwich.

Then coming into the Docklands, you’ve got Canary Wharf.

After that, you’ve got Tower Bridge, London Bridge, St Paul’s Cathedral, Tower of London…

You’ve got Tate Modern, the Millennium Bridge, the London Eye, Southbank Centre, Southbank… it is incredible.

And Big Ben at the end as well 🇬🇧

Such a super awesome way to see the city.

Come and do it this summer ☀️

Please, please, please — especially at sunset or during the night 🌅🌙

Visit the Uber Boat by Thames Clippers in London.

Come through 🙌

Until then, find your hidden gem 💎

I don’t think people realise how hilly South East London is ⛰️

Everywhere you go, so much of South East London is covered in hills. It’s insane. From Crystal Palace to Blackheath, Bromley, Shooters Hill and Brockley, South East London is full of hills.

Specifically zoning in on the Brockley/Catford area, there are two lovely places where you can get gorgeous views of the city 🌇

Firstly, we have Blythe Hill Fields, just off Blythe Hill Lane. Here you’ll get panoramic views of the city, with both the Docklands and the City of London clearly in sight.

Going deeper into Brockley and touching Ladywell, you’ve got Hilly Fields. Now Hilly Fields is an interesting one because whilst it’s an incredibly beautiful spot, it doesn’t actually offer clear views of Central London, but of South East London instead. It almost gives you a countryside-like feel overlooking the city. It’s really, really incredible 🌳

And if you do still want to get those city views, you can get glimpses of the skyline in the background.

These are just a few of the great viewpoints that we have across South East London. There are definitely many more to show, so stay tuned 👀

Today I present to you another Croydon gem 💎:
📍Farthing Downs / Happy Valley — tucked away in the depths of South Croydon, Coulsdon!

Rolling valleys, unreal views, wide open landscapes, and with sheep and cattle too!
