This has been my softer alternative to burning scented candles lately.. This idea is all over TT but I recently saw this done by @sagenferns. I love simmer pots and often do them on the cooker but I love this mini version too. You actually get the same amount of scent around the house that you’d get from a scented candle. I use mine over 3 days and top up with boiling water. Have you tried this? Any other summer pot recipes you’d recommend? #simmerpot For mine I’ve used: - a heat proof bowl or old candle jar (my glass bowl is from @johnlewis ) - boiling hot water - a few orange slices (you can also use peels of fruits ) - 2 cinnamon sticks - vanilla essence - dried rosemary - star anise - handful of cloves

I’m convinced there’s a condition where you physically can’t use things for their intended purpose… and I definitely have it. Please tell me I’m not the only one living with this?? 🤣😅

Still very much in love with my DIY dish rack book shelves. I’ve recently added more ‘shelves’ .... But should I add another? 👀 If this is the first time you are seeing this hack - then all you need is a wood dish rack (depth of at least 10cm - I get mine off eBay usually) and 2 self adhesive hooks to support each rack vertically. Let me know if you ever decide to try it. You can swap the hooks for nails or hooks if you want something a little more permanent.

But should I add another? 👀 If this is the first time you are seeing this hack - then all you need is a wood dish rack (depth of at least 10cm - I get mine off eBay usually) and 2 self adhesive hooks to support each rack vertically. Let me know if you ever decide to try it. You can swap the hooks for nails or hooks if you want something a little more permanent.

Now it stores all the everyday hallway bits... and secretly hides our cleaning stuff too. What do you think? Still very much loving my lids from @puddingpotlids (a small business that has created bamboo lids for popular ramekin deserts so they can be easily re-used) and still very much hoarding jars and ramekins l’ve linked these lids in my ‘linked’ highlight

We recently hired someone to turn the space under our stairs into storage and I am absolutely in love with it 😍😍. It’s so useful for shoes/coat/bag storage and keeps our hallway looking clutter free. What do you think? I’m about to start painting a top coat next week so stay tuned for the final colour reveal!

I’ve been dreaming up ideas for our entrance makeover this year, but this time l’m not just pinning random screenshots, I’m creating a moodboard using Firefly Boards in the @adobeuk Firefly Web App. From colour palettes to storage ideas, I’ve been uploading inspo, generating new images with Al, and visually piecing everything together on their infinite canvas. AD. I didn’t think such a small change would make this much difference... but here we are! We’re not ready to fully redo the uneven patio yet, so it’s been about finding simple ways to make it feel nicer in the meantime. I’ve been searching for an outdoor dining set for so long and finally found one from @argos that is perfect for us! It’s stylish, practical and has a fantastic price point. I’ve linked it in my stories today! I love how a few considered pieces can pull everything together and make a space feel ready for hosting again, without needing a full overhaul or big spend. What do you think?

I used 3 IKEA METOD kitchen cabinets with the drawer system to create this window seat, then cut my own doors from MDF and made the cushion using foam, wadding and fabric . It’s pushed away from the radiator to allow for a gap, so it doesn’t affect the heat in the room. This is a great project to try if you’re nervous about doing something from scratch. What do you think ? #ikeahack
