Growing up, the holidays were about slowing down and being together. I’m trying to bring that back to our family. And I find myself caught between caring for them, raising kids, growing a business, and trying to hold it all together. This “sandwich generation” stage is not for the faint of heart. There’s never enough time - with my parents, my kids, my husband, or myself. And the guilt that comes with it can be crushing. But I’m learning that maybe “enough” isn’t the goal. Maybe the goal is grace. Grace for the messy, imperfect middle. If you’re in this season too: you’re not alone. Be gentle with yourself. You’re doing so much better than you think. With the Rockies as our backdrop, @FairmontJPL - who are launching a new custom bachelorette package- gave us the dreamiest setting for the most special bachelorette weekend. Cozy, FUN, and full of that Alberta charm: just like our girl! Our cabin was the best mix of rustic charm, cozy comfort, and good times. It had a crackling fireplace, plush beds, and plenty of space to laugh, lounge, eat together, and celebrate and kick up our heels: just how Jilly wanted it. 15 of us girls soaked up every minute with good food, pampering at the spa, dancing to country music, cowboy boots, spicy Caesars, and unforgettable memories with our bride-to-be. Still riding the high from our stay! Thankful to the @fairmontjpl team for making the trip so memorable!
