I thought way more families were worth over $30 million in the US. Turns out the real number is shockingly small — and it put everything I see on social media into perspective. The flashy lifestyle content we scroll through every day is a much smaller world than we're led to believe.

84% of the world has never used AI.

Let that satisfying visual sink in for a second.

Each dot in this chart represents ~3.2 million people. 2,500 dots = 8.1 billion humans.

The gray? That’s ~6.8 billion people who have never touched an AI tool. Not once.

The green at the bottom? ~1.3 billion free chatbot users. That’s only 16%.

The tiny sliver of yellow? ~15-25 million people paying $20/month for AI. That’s 0.3%.

And the red dots you can barely see? ~2-5 million people using coding scaffolds like Claude Code or Cursor. 0.04% of the planet.

I run a business where AI fluency with Claude Code is now mandatory. We’ve replaced significant headcount costs with autonomous agent systems. We build business tools with Claude Code.

Most founders I talk to think AI adoption is “everywhere.” It’s not even close.

If you’re reading this, you’re likely in the top 1% of AI users on Earth. The opportunity gap between those who use AI and those who don’t is only getting wider.

We’re at the dial-up era of AI. The people building skills now will compound their advantage for the next decade.

What’s your take on the adoption curve?

I spent 3.5 billion tokens this month. My Anthropic bill? $5,600.

And that's just me. Once your team hits even half this level, the costs are untenable. 70-80% needs to be open source on local infrastructure. AI is becoming a massive cost center — plan for it now.

ChatGPT is getting ready to roll out ads with insane targeting power, pulling from all those conversations you’ve had, even the ones you deleted.

He ranked number one on Google in 38 minutes.

Cody Schneider published a LinkedIn article during our webinar. When he checked Google later in the call, it appeared first organically for “Facebook ads for kitchen remodeling.” He said it had gone live 38 minutes earlier.

You can see the research, the prompt, the publishing steps and the Google result in this Reel.

Here are the takeaways I would save:

1. Pick one clear query.

Cody started with a specific keyword and pulled the pages already ranking for it. That gave him research to work from before he asked AI to write.

2. Give AI useful source material.

He brought the ranking articles into the model’s context and wrote a prompt for the target query. A vague prompt gives the model more room to guess. You can watch his inputs on screen.

3. Add your founder’s actual point of view.

For a brand, Cody recommends a 30-minute founder conversation about positioning, the market and the company’s unique thesis. Add that transcript to the research.

This is the step I would keep. Your founder can explain what customers get wrong, what your team has learned and where the business takes a different approach. Give the model that material, then review what it writes.

4. Notice where the article lives.

He published on LinkedIn. The result shown here is a LinkedIn article ranking for one query. It is not a demonstration of a new page on his own website ranking in 38 minutes.

5. Keep the warning with the tactic.

He used Prime Indexer for the published URL and explicitly warned against doing this on your core website. Do not drop that warning when you take notes or try to adapt the workflow.

6. Check the result.

He returned to Google to check indexing and position. An article being published is one step. Seeing it in the actual results is another.

This is one live test, not a guarantee that another keyword or website will get the same result in 38 minutes.

Save this before you build your next content workflow. Watch how he adds context, where he publishes and how he checks the outcome.

72% of the world has never used AI.

Let that sink in.

Despite all the hype, only around 26% of people globally have used AI tools like ChatGPT, Claude, or Gemini.

Around 50 million people pay for AI. And only a tiny fraction are actually building AI systems.

The AI opportunity isn't gone. We're still very early...

88% of companies use AI. Less than 1% are actually building with it.

That’s the gap. That’s the opportunity.

We’re in the less-than-1% running autonomous AI agents. One recovered $500K in stalled pipeline. Another does $45K worth of SEO work in 20 minutes.

Most companies handed out ChatGPT logins and declared themselves “AI-first.”

The 6% capturing real value? They didn’t just adopt AI. They built it into everything.

The 1% are in a completely different stratosphere.

Stop using AI like a calculator. Start using it like a co-founder.

Hating billionaires just means you’re focused on the wrong target.

Success is about adding value and maximizing potential. Why vilify that?

If you want to win, study what works, stop the blame game, and channel that energy into building your own path.

Winners create, not complain.

Clawdbot just booked me 27 demos in an hour by scanning the web and auto scheduling meetings.

But here’s the catch. Prospects are getting flooded with AI outreach, and response rates are slipping.

👉 The edge now is strategy, not volume. Adapt fast or get left behind.

At Single Grain, we’ve added a ‘beat AI’ challenge.

Because if you’re still working the old way right now, you’re already behind the 8 ball.

Not hiring people with these superpowers today is akin to hiring people who don’t know how to use the internet.

In order to reach our goals, the entire company has to be aligned and marching in the right direction.

This challenge is pretty straightforward: demonstrate evidence of exceptional ability using AI and proceed.

We’ll consider any role.

Highly recommend that your company adopts something like this to level up your hiring.

If you want the test, just comment 'newsletter' as we will be sending it this week.

AI coding tools are compressing timelines dramatically.

Work that once required large teams and long cycles can now be prototyped in hours.

👉 The shift isn’t just speed! it’s how ideas move from intent to execution.

The real question is whether you’re adapting your workflow to match it.

Why? Because they still write code by hand. That's the new disqualifier.

Goldman Sachs dropped a stat that should wake up every marketer:

AI agents → 5% of software economics today.
AI agents → 60% by 2030.

Here’s what nobody’s talking about:

When agents control purchasing decisions, your SEO strategy, your ad spend, your entire funnel — all of it needs to be rearchitected.

The question isn’t “should I use AI?”

It’s “is AI choosing me?”

Agent optimization is the new SEO. Start now.
