The brand new @milwaukeetool extended reach 3059-20 3/8 ratchet. As many know the standard length 1/4” and even the 3/8” I wasn’t a massive fan of but these feel different. Not sure if it’s the extra length that gives them a more balanced feel with speed and torque but something feels different for sure as I use them more and more I’ll be back with more feedback.

The sea of sockets 🤣. When I ordered my new @snapon_official box. I knew I wanted a full bank 68” epiq for this very reason. In my head it will go like this. One drawer sockets One drawer wrenches One drawer power tools and something else One drawer ratchets & extensions and maybe something else Etc etc etc. utilize the space the best was possible then use my 36” end cabs to store the specialty tools and things I don’t use at least on a weekly basis. Obviously depending on what comes in to the shop that does change. #mechanic #sockets #snapon #mechaniclife

@shoproadtek battery powered floor jack. The number one benefit from these I could see for myself is the limited space I have in the shop. On one side of my lift I only have maybe 2 ft. Not enough to be able to pump a floor jack. Also it will work without the battery just so you all know that say what happens if the battery dies

Super impressed with the @milwaukeetool striker hammer so far. Obviously these are just smaller tests. So many people want this test and that test. The reality is we can just wish a job and it magically pop up in the shop. The even more unfortunate reality is usually when we get new tools and want to use it there’s this weird anomaly where we won’t see one for months now that we have the tool 🤣 but so far it has the power I was hoping. Obviously it’s not going to be as strong as the big boys but that’s not the point. If it can do at least 80% of what my air hammers can do I’m going be happy with it. It’s the VERY FIRST of its kind and people keep missing that very important factor. I’ll be continuing to use it and abuse it to give you all my honest opinions of what works and what doesn’t and where improvements may be able to be made.

The new CTR869 extra long ratchet. I don’t know about you all but I’ve been using this on so many jobs. I’m planning on trading in one of my extended reach ratchet. Makes certain jobs such breeze I don’t need to bury my hands inside the engine bay to make it work with another ratchet. @snapon_official
Another throwback to this trend. 🤣 in all seriousness it’s obviously a joke and if you are new in this industry you should be buying affordable tools and carts/boxes.

Vessel rechargeable ratchet. Nifty little tool and doesn’t have a bunch of power which is normal given the size, but I just manually break them free and run them out and back in then hand tighten again. Great tool for tight spaces

@snapon_official came out with a couple longer 3/8” options in the indexing ratchets. If you have never used these or bought one but it’s sat in your toolbox and you haven’t found a use for it yet. I challenge you to set aside your daily ratchets and start using these. You will quickly find a lot of uses for it. This obviously isn’t an ideal situation where you need it. It’s just to show how it can be used. These are great for transfer case bolts, transmission bolts, I’ve used mine for the oil separator cover on Civic’s, some starter bolts, some gm oil cooler line bolts. Lots of options.

KTC ratchet from Japan. Honestly if the button was better I think I’d like this a lot more but the trigger is horrible on both the standard and extended. Don’t get me wrong I still use them due to how small they are but it is hard to get past that switch for me.

Throwback to the vessel rechargeable ratchet now available in the USA in all black. This is the Japanese version and it’s such a great ratchet to use for small jobs. I’ve used it on a lot of tight access areas that none of my battery powered ratchets couldn’t fit in.
