High Protein Spinach Pasta with Crispy Chickpeas 😍 
I love Banza pasta for a quick, protein- and fiber-packed meal — it’s such an easy way to make dinner feel nourishing while still coming together fast. #banzapartner One serving of Banza has 8g of fiber and 20g of protein, so it’s a staple in my pantry.

Ingredients:
1/2 lb Banza pasta
2–3 garlic cloves, minced
1 tbsp butter
2 tbsp olive oil
Juice of 1 lemon
1/2 cup heavy cream
1/2 cup grated Parmesan
1/4 cup broth (see notes)
1 cup spinach
Salt and pepper to taste
Red pepper flakes
Parsley for garnish

Directions:
Bring a pot (8 cups of water) to a boil, add salt, then pasta, and stir. Reduce the heat to a simmer. Reduce the heat to a simmer, stirring frequently, and cook for the recommended time or until al dente (about 6 minutes) expecting some foaming. Once done, drain the pasta and rinse it with cold water to remove the foam. Set aside. 
In a pan over medium-high heat, add the butter and olive oil. Add in garlic and sauté for a couple of minutes. Pour in the heavy cream and stir in the Parmesan cheese, lemon juice, salt, and pepper to taste. Let the mixture simmer and thicken for about 3–5 minutes.

Add the cooked pasta to the pan and toss everything together. For a creamier sauce, gradually add the broth, a little at a time. Finish with extra Parmesan, salt, and pepper to taste. Add in crispy chickpeas and garnish with parsley.

2 leeks (white + light green parts, sliced)
2 tbsp butter
1 tbsp olive oil
2 garlic cloves
1 cup heavy cream
grated parmesan
zest of 1 lemon
banza brown rice spaghetti
½ cup pasta water
salt + black pepper
instructions:
cook pasta in salted water, reserve some pasta water.
cook leeks in butter + olive oil on medium-low until soft and slightly caramelized (about 15–20 min), add a pinch of salt halfway
add garlic, cook 1 min
pour in cream, simmer 2–3 min
add pasta, parmesan, lemon zest + a splash of pasta water, toss until glossy
finish with lemon zest, black pepper, and more parmesan
makes for great leftovers

While the pasta cooks, heat a skillet over medium heat and cook the Italian Sausage, breaking it up into small pieces

Preheat oven to 400F and then add the skillet. Allow to cook until the cheese is nice and melted. 
Drizzle hot honey on top and add fresh basil. Serve and enjoy!

Their new wheat protein mac and cheese boasts 16g of protein and 4g of fiber per serving, so when you split a box and add spinach, rotisserie chicken, artichoke hearts, chicken broth, milk, and some extra cheese, a bowl has over 45g of protein! The perfect post-hike meal... or, y’know, a comfort meal to make you feel better after breaking a finger 

This was so good, I made the same thing two nights in a row. It seriously takes just like traditional mac and cheese, just with an added boost of protein from the chickpeas.

THE RECIPE
1 box Banza Wheat Pasta White Cheddar Shells (+ butter and milk according to package instructions)
4-6 artichoke hearts (or more if you’d like!), chopped
2 cups chicken broth
1 rotisserie chicken breast, skin removed, shredded
2 cups spinach
2 oz fontina cheese, shredded

Add pasta to a skillet and pour in 2 cups of chicken broth. You won’t need to drain the pasta because it will absorb all of the broth. When the pasta is almost cooked, add in the shredded chicken, spinach, and artichoke hearts. Stir and cover until the pasta finishes cooking and the spinach is wilted. Add milk, butter, and cheese packet according to package instructions. Add shredded fontina cheese and stir until melted. Serve and enjoy!

🍋 Summer Shrimp Pasta (Banza Style)

Marinade:
½ cup olive oil
¼ cup lemon juice
4 garlic cloves, chopped
2 tablespoons fresh basil, chopped
2 pounds shrimp
1 teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon black pepper
Lemon wedges (for garnish)
Mix all ingredients, add shrimp, and marinate for 15–20 minutes. Grill on medium heat until pink.

1 box Banza bucatini
Zest of 1 lemon
1 cup heavy cream
2 tablespoons butter
¼ cup chopped shallots
2 garlic cloves, minced
½ teaspoon lemon juice
Salt and pepper to taste
Cook pasta and set aside. Sauté shallots and garlic in butter. Add lemon zest and cream. Simmer until thick. Stir in lemon juice, salt, and pepper. Toss in pasta, top with shrimp, add cheese because rules were meant to be broken.
