Finale Night Recap
I’m so happy. I truly got everything out of this experience that I hoped for.
1st Dance - I know we could have done better, but with how crazy this week was, i’m proud we pulled this off.
Instant Dance- I willed foxtrot into existence. At the time we picked, i wanted foxtrot so bad
BUT once we got to finale week it was the dance we practiced the least. I felt most confident in Cha Cha and secretly wanted Samba for one last chance to Whisk and Samba Roll on stage.
Freestyle- I wanted our final dance to just showcase the growth we had this season. It was our chance to tell our story and not worry about making it to the next week, our votes, or judges critiques — it felt like the moment we worked so hard for all season and we left it all out on the dance floor. I enjoyed every second of it.
Overall, this night felt like the perfect way to end our story and my journey of becoming a dancer.
