He also converted a two-point rush and helped engineer a late comeback that forced overtime, including a game-tying 2-yard TD run and an OT 3-yard score. His versatility and toughness nearly upset the favored Longhorns, earning him Peach Bowl Offensive MVP honors—the first time in 26 years the award went to a player on the losing team—while cementing his legacy as one of ASU’s all-time greats.
