The wood, the brick, the beams… it all makes so much more sense now. It’s moody but still warm, dramatic but still livable. Exactly what I wanted this Colonial house to feel like. Follow along as I decorate next! Hard to believe I almost switched colors at the last minute because I thought it was pulling too black. Seeing it finished… what do you see — black or green? Make it make sense… I’m content, and I’m upset at the same time. It feels like I’m closing the door on a part of my life I never fully walked into. Most days I know our family is complete, and I know we only have the capacity for Amelia in this next stage of life. But then there are moments when I wonder… am I failing her by not giving her a sibling to grow up with?
