*CINCO DE MAYO SPECIAL available only 5/5* @tacoburritoco did it again by launching some cool sh*t! 🔥 I was one of the first to sample this crazy Grenade Burrito and this thing was good! I was a little skeptical at first but the beef rib had great flavor and everything came together nicely. You can easily share this with 2-3 people by cutting it (the piece I shows at the end was only like 1/4 of the burrito 😳) it’s HUGE. Only available for Cinco de Mayo tomorrow, but rumor has it if the response is good maybe it can become a weekend special 👀🤷🏽‍♀️ Would you try this burrito?!

Now I want to be honest, my expectations going into this was somewhat low. No offense to them I just didn’t know what a soul food buffet could possibly hit on, MIND YOU I haven’t been to a buffet in YEARS!! lol I was so shocked by how the food was actually really good. I would come just get my same order to go and be completely satisfied. If the food quality and service is consistent everytime then it’s a win for me. They had items like smothered pork chops, baked chicken, fish, smothered sausage, and more. $22 isn’t bad at all in my opinion considering you can get as much as you want + you’d spend that ordering just a plate damn near some other places. Also I’ve spend more than that bit KBBQ, hot pot, and etc. They serve you drinks (I got a sweet tea) and they bring you the cornbread or a roll. There’s a new Unbound Exhibit at the @virginiahistory that explores the lives of free slaves in Virginia! #dominionenergypartner This was my first time visiting this museum and what a beautiful place! I love how the museum is Virginia focused and it was cool to visually explore the Virginia timeline starting from 16000 BCE to present day! 🙌🏽 The exhibit just opened June 14th and ends April 2027. As someone who is not originally from Virginia I always enjoy learning about its history, it was very education and I learned a lot about the Virginia free slaves. If you do the Churrasco Experience it’s $65 per person for unlimited which you get a variety of different protein choices and access to the salad bar. I thought the salad bar had a nice variety of options and if you don’t want that experience they do have other menus to order from. I thought the meat was very good, seasoned well, and they have different variations cooked to your preferred temperature. Overall I think it makes the perfect date night or for any special occasion. Have you heard of @plixplexvb 👀 They just opened and this place is so cool! I love how each room has a different theme and the games are all so different. The owners curated all these games themselves which had my mind blown 🤯 They currently have 20 games available and will be adding more each week. A 2hr pass is $34 which honestly is worth it. You can play the games as many times as you would like and 2hrs actually is a long time. I was there for about 45 minutes and that seemed like a long time but I only played like 4 or 5 games! Each game has 3 achievements for you to unlock and collect points. The games make you really think and I think this is a cute date or going with friends. I recommended having 2-3 people in your party at least for the best experience. If you go by yourself that can be fun but some of the games require more people. I got the Chicken Platter which all their platters come with rice, choice of meat, fries, side salad, and choice of sauce (which they told me mostly everyone just goes with the white). I added the feta, hummus, and jalapeños then asked for a side of hot sauce. I ordered my platter HOW I THOUGHT I’D LIKE IT FOR MY TASTE BUDS! You can get it how it originally comes or add some stuff like I did to jazz it up, I just KNEW the feta and jalapeños would hit and it did for me lol. I would’ve liked the meat a bit more seasoned when I tried it by itself without the sauces but it was still pretty good. Overall I think it’s a nice addition to the oceanfront and honestly I’m in support of new businesses opening up there because we need some new sh*t there!!! The platter also easily can feed 2 people. There’s a lot of items I didn’t try so I think it makes for fun to get something new each visit to figure out your faves. There were people in there that it was already their second or third time going!!
