Here are some of the changes  - Redesigned folding hinge - New Noise Cancelling QN3 Chip - Up from 8 Mics on XM5 to 12 on XM6 - Wider headband & padding - Redesigned case with magnetic buckle  - New software features  That's just some of the upgrades. They are in fact magnetic switches and the sensitivity can be dialled into perfection using the InZone Hub software.  The compact size gives you more space for your mouse, which is perfect for FPS games.
