I went to a gay bakery today in SF and asked them to make me a Charlie Kirk cake.
Do you know that ICE agents aren’t robots? They are HUMANS. Humans who are men and women doing a job that can be a very scary job. A job that has and always will be necessary. When they are put in a terribly scary position and they are already on edge TERRIBLE things happen that didn’t need to. NO ONE should be happy when terrible things happen. It’s sad. Life doesn’t happen in a slow motion video frame by frame to judge what SHOULD have happened. It happens quick. Kick the bees nest and the bees come. I’m greatly sad about all of this.
I’m guessing if this guy would’ve shot and killed an ICE agent yall wouldn’t have lost any sleep.
How about everyone just stops saying it. Like no one should say it. Putting it in songs and putting it in your regular vernacular for people to quote or emulate really muddys up your strange social “rules” about segregating language.
So burnouts on rainbow crosswalks are an arrest-able offense but these thugs can vandalize someone’s mural?
If it seems like my tweets or posts are a “bit much” this week I apologize. 🇺🇸 had a young girl stabbed to death on a subway, a political assasination of a pal of mine, a trans school shooter and today my dad died. So please consider that I’m not well and trying to cope. A little grace will go a long way.
