A few months ago, I made a list of 300 things to do before I die. Then I turned it into a four-foot poster and hung it in my house. At first, it just felt like a fun creative project. But it quickly became something much bigger. The list gave me something to reach for on the hard days. It gave me direction when I felt lost and it made me excited about the future again. I walk past it every day, and every day, I feel this subtle reminder of “Oh yeah… I’m building a really dope life.” That’s why I recorded my first-ever solo episode of The Optimist this week. To share the full story: → How a random coaching assignment turned into the most meaningful thing I’ve done in years → Why 300 is the magic number (not 10, not 100) → The wild sniper rifle story that never would’ve happened if I hadn’t said it out loud → And why I believe everyone should build a list like this This episode is personal. It’s raw. And honestly, it’s a love letter to anyone who’s ready to live more intentionally, even when life gets hard. It's now live on YouTube, Spotify, and Apple (just search for The Optimist). Until then, I hope this clip gives you something to think about. And if you’ve already started making your list… I’d love to see it. PS: The first 5 people who DM me their list of 300 things will receive a free 4 foot poster in the mail. My treat ;)

I used to think the point of entrepreneurship was to win Then I met James Beshara (he founded @get Magic Mind, one of the leading lines of mental performance products designed to enhance focus, energy, and cognitive function.) He built a company valued at $400M, sold it in a fire sale, and then disappeared into YouTube rabbit holes, eastern philosophy, and the realization that he’d been building his life around a worldview he never consciously chose. So he came on my podcast this week and shared the questions that helped him rebuild: • what if your ambition is just masked insecurity? • what do you actually want? peace, prosperity, or both? • what is the world quietly asking of you that you’re ignoring? • and can you build a massive, meaningful career without losing your mind? This was one of the most personal, honest, and paradigm-shifting conversations I’ve had on the show. If you’re someone who’s trying to do something big and stay deeply grounded at the same time, CHECK THIS ONE OUT! 🎧 Full episode is out now - check out the link in bio.

I was scrolling through TikTok about 6 months ago and came across this Green Beret walking through the woods with his dog talking about philosophy. I knew I needed to meet him. We started doing a few coaching sessions and he asked me to make a list of 309 things to do before I die (you know the list). Meet Cam King (@ckcollective.co). I’ve been SO excited to publish this episode. It’s a meaty one. He’s not your average dude. And this is not your average conversation about masculinity. In this episode, we go deep into: - Why so many men are quietly breaking down after heartbreak - How to actually *move on* (hint: it’s not another rebound) - Cam’s rule for turning pain into power - The *real* reason modern relationships are falling apart - Why men struggle to define who they want to become—and how to finally figure it out - And the viral origin story of the “300 Things to Do Before You Die” bucket list Whether you’re navigating a breakup, trying to understand the men in your life, or rebuilding yourself from the ground up, this one hits hard. Cam helped me through one of the most confusing chapters of my life. And in this episode, we’re passing that torch to you. Link in bio. Enjoy.

We don’t realize how quickly time passes. Not until a whole year disappears behind us. Or until someone we love is gone. Or until we look up and wonder where it all went. This list is what keeps me going. 300 things I want to do before I die. Not to check boxes, but to stay awake to the beauty of being alive. To build a life I’m proud of. This week, I shared the full story in my first solo episode of The Optimist. Why I made the list, how it’s changed me, and why I think you should make one, too. If you’ve been feeling stuck or numb or like time is moving too fast, start writing your list. Your future self will thank you. 🎧 Episode out now. Search for The Optimist wherever you get your podcasts, and check out my personal list at the link in my bio.

You don't need to be 100% healed to date again. We're complex people living in a complex world. Everyone has baggage. The point of partnership is to help each other heal and walk each other back home. Be 70% there, communicate your triggers, support each other's growth. Heal intentionally but don't wait for perfection.

This little bucket list project kind of exploded. Tens of thousands of you sent me your lists. DMs, comments, questions...so many beautiful responses. But also a lot of questions. So I sat down and recorded a Q+A episode answering the ones I kept hearing: • “Why 300 things?” • “How do you keep from getting overwhelmed?” • “What if I don’t want to do everything on my list?” • “What’s the point of making a list at all?” This episode is for anyone who’s been part of the journey so far (or anyone ready to start their own). 🎧 Full episode is live now at the link in bio. And yes, you should make the list.

I started The Optimist because I couldn’t stop noticing the same thing over and over: Men are unhealthy. And no one’s really talking about it in a way that feels honest, grounded, and real. We’re here to change that. Listen to the weekly podcast at our link in bio, follow along on your favorite platforms, and share with a friend who could benefit from this.
