Tonight marked the 10th annual Give a Kid a Christmas Go-Kart Race at Trackhouse Motorplex — and what a night it was. Twenty-eight years ago, Give a Kid a Christmas was born out of one mission: make sure children who lost family members still experience the joy, warmth, and hope of Christmas. That mission hasn’t faded — it’s only grown stronger. Watching the North Carolina State Highway Patrol, along with multiple agencies and local businesses, rally together for these kids is powerful. This isn’t just a race. It’s community showing up. It’s people choosing to stand in the gap for families who need it most. I’m proud to be here, proud to document it, and proud to collaborate with the North Carolina State Highway Patrol, Davidson County Sheriff’s Office, Thomasville Police Department, and Lexington Police Department on something that genuinely makes a difference. #GiveAKidAChristmas #NCSHP #CommunityFirst #GoProMotorplex #NoahOverbyPhotography #GivingSeason #ServeAndProtect #ForTheKids
