3 things I do when self-doubt voices are getting too loud: 1. I get specific about what I’m actually doubting. I write it out and reverse engineer why that’s 100% not true and how to fix it or move past it. Shoving these fear feelings down doesn’t make progress, and sometimes it’s harder than others. But self-talk is a real thing. taking a moment to tell yourself “HELLO what’s happening” and giving yourself space to feel and address the emotion, and then continue building. 2. I look at the proof. External validation and proof is so much more motivating, but when it’s quiet it’s a lot harder. Sometimes improvements look so small, but when you look at the bigger picture it feels like so much more progress. I tell myself “there is no other way” even when it feels I hit a dead end, I find a way to get to the other side. 3. Taking action even when it’s not perfect. Decision paralysis and imposter syndrome is something I battle with on a frequent basis, and although right now I don’t have a “forever solution,” having a stronger deeper relationship with myself is improving every day. making these episodes shorter and my ability to handle them much easier. Keep pushing if you believe in something you’re working on.

I could have come up with a mission excuses to not test my theory but I did. This could be a small little side hustle for my mom! An extra $500, $1,000 a month makes a big difference.
