3. When she reaches back out (and she will), be casual.
"Been busy. What's up?"
No explanation. No apologizing. You weren't available because you had shit going on.
The frame is: I'm good with or without you.
That's when she starts chasing.

If you're taking her to an expensive restaurant on the first date, you already lost.
Here's why:
You're sub-communicating that you need to spend money to impress her because you don't think you're good enough.
And she knows it.
What I do:
1. Coffee, drinks, or a casual spot. Keep it low investment.
If she's worth more, she'll earn the nice dinner later. But that comes after she's proven herself, not before.
2. Set a time constraint: "I can do an hour, then I've got something."
Even if you don't. This way you're never awkwardly trying to end it, and she doesn't feel like you're desperately trying to extend it.
3. If it's going well, YOU end it first.
"This was cool, let's do it again" - and bounce.
Now she's thinking about you all night wondering if you're into her.
The goal isn't to spend the most time. It's to leave her wanting more.
