I had never heard anyone explain how to manifest like this before…

This episode with renowned neurosurgeon and neuroscientist, Dr. Jim Doty has had a profound impact on my life. It was the last interview he ever gave before he passed away earlier this year.

I think he subconsciously knew it would be, and he showed up in a way that was magical. And apparently the rest of the world did too.

Not only is this episode one of our most popular of all time, it has also been nominated for two @signalawards for Best Video Podcast Guest and Best Interview or Talk Show!!

I’m so proud that it was nominated and honored to keep sharing his message with the world.

Dr. Doty taught me how to tap into the unseen possibilities and greater forces of life using neuroscience and the scientific approach to manifesting.

It would mean the world to me if you would vote for this episode to get the nominations it deserves.

I need to tell you something absolutely unbelievable that happened today.

Apple Podcasts just released their year-end awards and named The Mel Robbins Podcast:

#1 Most Followed Show on Apple in 2025
#1 Most Shared Episode of 2025 for our episode with @drstacysims
Best of 2025 Editorial Award

I just can’t believe it. I am so honored that you not only love @themelrobbinspodcast as much as I do, but that you find so much value in it that you want to share it with those you love, too.

Our small team, you, and this global community turned this little podcast that started in a room above my garage into one of the biggest podcasts in the world.

I am so proud and so grateful.

At a time when the world feels heavy, noisy, and negative, you’re choosing a show that has one simple mission:

Help you feel encouraged.
Help you feel less alone.
Help you make small changes.
Give you access to experts and research that actually improve your life.

And the fact that you’re not only listening, but also sharing it, means everything.

Thank you for being part of a global force for good.
Thank you for showing up for yourself.
And thank you for making this possible.

This is the exact moment I found out…

WE’VE BEEN NOMINATED FOR A GOLDEN GLOBE!!

Absolutely surreal.

I am having an out of body experience and my team and I are so fired up.

This is the first ever Golden Globe Award for Best Podcast! To be nominated the first time the category exists gives this honor so much importance and meaning in my heart.

When I launched this podcast just 3 years ago, I was 54, starting something completely new at a stage in life when the world often tells you the best days are behind you. To be nominated just 3 years later is proof of a simple truth: It is never too late to change your life. Your age, your past, and your doubts do not determine what you can create next. There are people around the world who will be inspired by your story if you find the courage to tell it.

First, thank you to the 400+ journalists from around the world who poured over all the applications in every category to determine the nominees for this year.

The amount of time, energy and deep consideration you give to this award is something that I’m humbled by. Being nominated for an award that recognizes excellence in production and storytelling is an honor that makes our team feel recognized that’s hard to describe. We put hundreds of hours into these episodes to make them as impactful as they can be for our global fan base.

Thank you.

Second, I want to congratulate and give a huge shoutout to my fellow nominees in the podcast category. I can’t wait to celebrate with all of you and I’m thrilled to be a part of this inaugural class being honored at the awards. @armchairexppod
@callherdaddy @goodhangwithamy @npr @smartless

Third, I wanted to thank you for being a fan of The Mel Robbins Podcast.

This podcast has become a global force for good because of you. Every time you listen to the podcast you’re investing time in making your life better. Every time you share an episode you’re helping someone else make theirs better.

Don’t ever forget the biggest win in life is taking responsibility for living it in a way that makes you happier, fulfilled and proud of yourself. I hope in some small way The Mel Robbins Podcast is helping you do just that.

Today I’m celebrating my 57th birthday, and I’m not gonna lie - 57 feels kinda old! I’ve been thinking about what I wish I knew when I was 27 - and it’s this:

* If you don’t like how your life feels right now, change it.

* Stop being so critical of yourself and focusing on what’s going wrong. If you want to be happier in life, you have to let yourself be happy.

* The best project you could ever work on is YOU. You make your life, your relationships, and the world better by first making yourself feel better.

All the success you see today - is the result of me following my own advice.

Your excuses are the same bullshit excuses I used to have: it’s too late, someone’s already done it, people will judge, what if it doesn’t work. It’s all bullshit.

If you want to change your life for the better, make today the day you do it.

I started @themelrobbinspodcast on my 54th birthday after years of talking myself out of it.

One decision changed everything.

So start today.

And if you want to give me something for my birthday, Id love your VOTE.

The Mel Robbins Podcast has been nominated for 9 Signal Awards(!!!!!) and your vote is everything!

Like so many of you, I am horrified and heartbroken by what is happening in Minnesota and in many cities around our country right now.

We are in a constitutional, legal, moral and humanitarian crisis.

You may feel afraid and helpless to effect positive change right now, and I have felt that way too.

Whenever I feel discouraged, I read the words of Professor Margaret Mead:

“Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful committed citizens can change the world; indeed, it’s the only thing that ever has.”

All it takes is one person to do the right thing.

If what’s happening bothers you as much as it bothers me, that person is you and me.

As Dr. King said: “The time is always right to do what is right.”

I am not here to tell you what you should do. Lots of resources online can give you ideas.

I donate to legal funds, participate in marches and am pushing my reps to defund ice because no one should be above the law or due process.

I believe deeply in justice, fairness and human dignity. These are not just personal values, they are deeply ingrained in my work.

I began my career as a criminal defense attorney for the Legal Aid Society, where I defended our legal rights and due process in courtrooms everyday. When I joined CNN as a Legal Analyst, my job was to explain our fundamental constitutional rights to global television audiences.

In my writing and on our podcast, we celebrate the work of world-renowned experts who share research, wisdom and science-backed advice to our global audience for one purpose - to help you see a bigger possibility for your life and give you the tools to feel and do better.

I can only remind you, as a friend, that the more you watch but do or say nothing - the more helpless and hopeless you’ll feel.

Doing something matters.

Your voice matters.

Be still. Find your center. Listen to your heart and you’ll know the next right action to take.

We’re better than this.

America’s better than this.

Together we will find our way back to our center. Together we will create the wave of positive change we long to see.

How to reduce stress with The Let Them Theory - Mel Robbins

In this episode, we have the great honor of welcoming Mel Robbins — American author, podcast host, and former attorney. Mel gained worldwide recognition after her viral TEDx Talk and has since then helped people transform their lives with her practical and empowering tools. Today, she reaches millions of people every day with her message of action and personal growth.

At 41, she was unemployed, in debt, drinking too much, and on the verge of losing everything. In this powerful conversation, Mel shares how The 5 Second Rule became the turning point that helped her rebuild her life. She explains why action comes before motivation, and how transformation starts the moment you decide to move.

Mel also reveals The Let Them Theory, her liberating philosophy about letting go of control, improving relationships, and reclaiming peace of mind. We talk about love, conflict, and letting go—how to reignite long-term relationships, heal after breakups, and set boundaries with difficult people. She closes by sharing her simple yet powerful morning routine that builds clarity, confidence, and consistency.

This episode is a reminder that your life is not shaped by how you feel—but by what you choose to do. Don’t miss this eye-opening and life-changing episode!

This is the truth when it comes to chasing your dreams and achieving your goals…

A third of the time, you’ll feel great.
A third of the time, you’ll feel meh.
And a third of the time, you’ll feel awful.

That’s not failure. That’s life.

Even @emmagrede, founding partner of SKIMS, cofounder & CEO of Good American, and host of @aspirewithemmagrede, has gone through what she calls the “Rule of Thirds.”

The problem is, we’ve been conditioned to think every day should feel amazing.

That if things aren’t going well, we’re doing something wrong.

But the truth is, the lows and the in-between days are part of the process too.

When you accept that, you stop fighting yourself. You stop quitting when it feels hard. And you stay in the game long enough to win.

This episode is the most motivational conversation I’ve ever had. 🎧 “If You Only Listen to One Podcast Today, Make It This One.”

Judge Frank Caprio taught us something powerful about what makes a good life…

It’s not success, wealth, or privilege.

It’s being a good person, cherishing your friends, and never forgetting that we’re all in the same boat together.

That’s the life he lived—and the legacy he leaves behind. He will be remembered for his kindness, his humility, and the way he reminded us of what really matters.

Rest in peace, Judge. ❤️

I couldn’t believe @drwilliamli told me THIS is where you start gaining fat first…

It doesn’t start with your belly or your thighs... It starts with your tongue. 🤔

Yes, you read that right.

Clinical research shows that one of the first places your body stores fat is in the back of your tongue, and that’s why sudden snoring can actually be an early sign of weight gain.
