Happy #mar10day 🌟 there's something about the Super Mario Bros world that makes me feel like a kid again 😄 Short story time: When I was in elementary school, I had a really hard time making friends but I LOVED my nintendo and the few friends I did have, I was able to connect with through NES games 🥹 and talking about gaming secrets we found and having gaming hangouts Back then, I actually designed a board game based on the mushroom kingdom 😂 which I now realize could have been the precursor to Mario Party lol. Me with a crap ton of physical media for no particular reason... 🎮🙄 honestly shoutout to nintendo for being the one of the big three to keep game cartridges and physical media alive - being able to collect & display something tangible, to truly own the games you buy and to buy and sell used games is and has always been such a pivotal part of gaming culture when I was a kid, loaning a neighbor a game and trying one of theirs was HOW I made new friends - riding my bike to garage sales to buy $5 used games when I couldn't afford new - these are core memories... I hate to see all of this be pushed aside for future generations 😞💔 it makes me sad #throwback #throwbackthursday #physicalmedia #gaming

Just a girl in a #witcher dress wishing she could teleport to gamescom right now... 😄 while I've never been able to attend #gamescom in person - it's always in Germany - this year I DID get to play a lot of the demos early thx to some LA-based press events so that was nice! (coverage mostly on youtube for those interested 💙) I'm very hyped for the Witcher 3 news!
