St. Louis Police Officer Nathan Spiess was injured in the line of duty while attempting to arrest a suspected car thief back in March. Because of the incident, Spiess had to undergo three surgeries which ultimately required the amputation of the lower part of one of his legs. Now, he is out of the hospital and working towards getting back to work on the police force… and he’ll be in the building as our BJC HealthCare Hometown Hero to cheer on the Blues for Game 6 on Friday night.
