Michael Jackson’s Dangerous album art is a hand-painted masterpiece created by Mark Ryden. It took over six months to complete and is a complex tapestry centered around pop culture and Jackson’s personal history. The concept for the cover was heavily inspired by Hieronymus Bosch’s The Garden of Earthly Delights.

Hidden in the chaotic, Neverland-style circus is Jackson’s pet chimpanzee, Bubbles. There are also cherubs which symbolize purity and divine victory. The imagery further explores the complexities of fame with the Dog King and Bird Queen. These two animals were modeled after Napoleon and the British monarchy.

Intertwined in the details are nods to MJ’s own legacy. This includes an allusion to his first solo hit “Ben” and his admiration for the showmanship of P.T. Barnum. If you look closely at the central hand, you’ll see the number 7 which is Michael’s lucky number. There is also a subtle appearance by actor Macaulay Culkin. This is an ode to their close friendship that was rooted in the trials of navigating fame at a young age.

This visual spectacle perfectly set the stage for the Dangerous World Tour which was one of the most successful runs in music history. It grossed over $100 million (the equivalent of over $200 million today) and played to nearly 4 million fans across 69 sold-out shows.

To this day, the Dangerous cover art remains one of the most detailed and meaningful album covers ever created. It stands as further proof that the King of Pop was an artistic visionary.

World No. 1 and defending champion Jannik Sinner survived an absolute thriller against Miomir Kecmanović, battling back to win a grueling 3-2 five-set match.

A terrifying slip on the slick Centre Court grass left Sinner in pain, with blood visibly seeping through his shoe as the match wore on. Despite the injury, Sinner came out on top for his first Wimbledon match this year hoping to win two in a row.

BOTH head coaches in this years NBA Finals coached under Gregg Popovich years before their success as head coaches today.

However it doesn’t stop at Mitch Johnson and Mike Brown. There are numerous examples of head coaches in the NBA today, who before they landed head coaching gigs, paid their dues and learned from the best.

Gregg Popovich’s coaching tree is quite incredible. From players to coaches, there are numerous examples of Coach Pop’s impact on his staff and teams.

Kendrick Lamar released his monumental diss track “Not Like Us” two years ago today.

“Not Like Us” was the definitive blow in Lamar’s battle against Drake. The raw nature of the song’s lyric left fans shocked while the DJ Mustard-laced instrumental was too infectious to ignore. Because of this, “Not Like Us” grew into a smash record that took home five trophies at the 67th Annual Grammy Awards.

Where were you when Kendrick dropped “Not Like Us”?

Listen, we know professional darts might not seem like the sport that incites the wildest crowd reactions, but we beg to differ.

It happened on January 3, 2023. Michael Smith beat Michael van Gerwen 7-4 in the PDC World Championship final at Alexandra Palace, winning his first world title after three prior runner-up finishes. The signature moment came in the second set: van Gerwen threw a near-perfect leg himself, missing double 12 on his ninth dart, and Smith immediately followed by hitting his own nine-darter to win it — 17 of 18 darts between them landed perfect.

Smith became only the second player ever to hit a nine-darter in a World Championship final, after Adrian Lewis in 2011. The leg is widely regarded as the greatest in darts history and became the defining moment of his breakthrough title.

Although the beef between Nelly and Chingy was well known amongst the public and hip hop community back in 2004 - it wasn’t until 2023 for a scathing diss track by Chingy to appear online for the first time ever, shocking the entire internet.

Nelly was the one who initially took their beef to wax with his song “Another One” on his 2004 album ‘Sweat’ with a minor subliminal diss that Chingy took offense to. A few months later, Chingy responded by leaking his own diss track titled “We Got” which was widely viewed as a very weak response.

Although both of these diss tracks were poorly received by the public and viewed as “corny” due to the weak lyrics, still their feud was widely covered and reported on simply due to their massive statuses at the time.

As time passed without either of them taking another shot on a single song, this beef was never taken seriously by the public and widely viewed as corny. Despite this, their segment on BEEF III became the highlight of the DVD due to public perception and viewed as comedic.

20 years later, after the feud had long been settled, a Chingy diss track from 2004 over the same beat from his massive hit “Right Thurr” - leaked online for the very first time, shocking the public. With scathing bars flipping Nelly’s own lyrics back at him, Chingy was immediately crowned by the every listener. With his music consistently falling into the club/pop side of hip hop throughout his entire career, this amplified the potency of his lyrics even more as nobody had ever expected to hear him rap like this.

Along with this song, came six other Chingy diss tracks that saw the light of day for the first time ever - convincing everyone that Nelly had every single one of them wiped from history to protect his status at the time.

On a random day in 2023, a new life was brought to a beef that had been viewed as corny and weak its entire lifetime, now making it iconic for the right reasons and Chingy’s diss track becoming a fan favorite, widely considered as one of the most underrated diss tracks of all time and biggest blowout in beef history.

On July 20, 2011, Funkmaster Flex premiered “Otis” by Kanye West & Jay-Z during the evening segment of his Hot 97 radio show.

Instead of playing the track all the way through, we witnessed one of the greatest moments in radio history. It took Flex over 22 minutes to complete the full song on his show due to restarting it 25 times, dropping 63 bombs, and aggressively growling 11 times. Approximately 2.84 BPM (bombs per minute) and restarting every 53.2 seconds, with countless memorable quotes in between.

“New York City, you listen to me. If you’re near a convenience store right now, any type of 24-hour store. Go into the store right now, and put your hand in the cash register for no reason *BOMB*. Their money is your money, as of right now!”

Although this wasn’t necessarily anything new, as Flex has done this many times during his memorable career, this one definitely stands above the rest as one of the greatest moments in hip hop and radio history.

Not only does Stephen Bunting have arguably the greatest walkout in all of sports, he also has one of the greatest nicknames of “The Bullet”.

When it comes to the actual sport, Bunting is one of the most elite dart players in the world as well. In 2012, the man known as “The Bullet” lifted his first major honor when he won the World Masters before successfully retaining it a year later. Two years later he would become the BDO World Champion.

His success propelled him into a global spotlight and accepted an invitation to join the Professional Darts Corporation. Since the switch from the BDO, Bunting has reached six major television semi finals, winning four pro tour events, competed in the Premier League, and was crowned Masters Champion in 2024, adding 6 titles in 2025.

Jordan Walker’s historic 2026 campaign is the definition of a breakthrough, headlined by his first career All-Star selection and a dominant Home Run Derby crown as the first St. Louis Cardinal to ever win the event.

Following this monumental achievement in his career, he spoke to the press and shed light on what he hopes the impact of his victory might bring.

“I want to be a role model for the Black kids, you know, and I want more Black kids in baseball,” said Walker. “Hopefully this raises some awareness.”

“I know a lot of them are playing basketball, football route, but I want them to know the baseball route is open to them, too,” he continued. “And there are a lot of kids that are athletic enough and mentally strong enough — Black kids that can play this game — and I want to see them do it.”

Walkers message comes at the right time with a shift in motion. For the first time in at least two decades, the amount of Black players on MLB active and inactive rosters on Opening Day has increased, consecutively hitting 6% in 2024, 6.2% in 2025, and 6.8% this season. Although the growth is notable, it’s still significantly lower than what was seen in 1950s through the 1980s.

In 1991, Black players made up 18% of the league. Nearly two-thirds of that presence has evaporated in a generation.

50 Cent initially took a playful jab at Jay on his track “How To Rob” in 1999 and Jay responded with a diss towards 50 live at Summer Jam later that year. Jay even spoke with 50 backstage saying he liked “How To Rob”, there was no beef and it was just two rappers competing with each other.

Jay-Z would then officially put it on wax with his track “It’s Hot”. Once this happened, 50 responded back with “Be A Gentleman” and that was the last we heard from them in this lyrical battle.

“Be A Gentleman” isn’t only one of 50 Cent’s most underrated diss tracks, it’s also one of his greatest tracks of all time. With a sample flip of the Christmas Carol “God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen” and interpolations flipping Jay-Z’s bars back at him, this was really the final diss track we ever heard from this battle back in 1999.

Ever since then there has been friction and tension between the two. As 50 rose in fame and Jay started transitioning in building his business empire, it went from playful competitiveness to industry politics.

Why do you think Jay-Z never responded after initially being willing to compete on wax?

When Freddie Gibbs traveled to Russia for a tour, his promoter gave him an AK-47 assault rifle to keep at all times.

Terrified of getting caught and ending up in a foreign prison, Gibbs asked what he was supposed to do with it. The promoter simply waved off his concerns and insisted, “No, no, no. You are ‘Gangsta Gibbs,’ you need to have this.”

Gibbs ended up carrying the military rifle with him everywhere he went for the duration of the tour.

In retirement, NBA Hall of Fame coach Don Nelson was asked what he had been up to while living in Maui, Hawaii. The relaxed, white-bearded legend nonchalantly revealed: “I’ve been smoking some pot, actually. It’s legal now... I never smoked when I played or coached, so it’s new to me, but I’m having a pretty good time.”

Don Nelson is widely considered one of the most innovative and impactful coaches in basketball history. Across 31 seasons on the sideline, “Nellie” accumulated 1,335 regular-season wins, a record that stood as the all-time NBA benchmark for over a decade before Gregg Popovich surpassed it in 2022. A three-time NBA Coach of the Year (1983, 1985, 1992) and 2012 Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame inductee, Nelson revolutionized the game by pioneering position-less concepts like the “point forward” and modern “small ball”.

Throughout his coaching stints with the Milwaukee Bucks, Golden State Warriors, New York Knicks, and Dallas Mavericks, Nelson developed and coached some of the game’s greatest iconic talents. He guided hall-of-famers Dirk Nowitzki and Steve Nash in Dallas, mentored the legendary “Run TMC” trio (Tim Hardaway, Mitch Richmond, and Chris Mullin) during his first Warriors tenure, coached Patrick Ewing in New York, and orchestrated the iconic We Believe 2007 Warriors upset over the top-seeded Mavericks behind Baron Davis and Stephen Jackson.

Rest In Peace to a great.

When the Atlanta Hawks drafted Luka Doncic with the 3rd pick of the 2018 NBA Draft, they had no idea how good he would become. Which is why they traded him for Trae Young who was chosen 2 picks later by the Dallas Mavericks.

When the Mavericks drafted 2x NCAA Champion Jalen Brunson in the 2nd round of the same draft, they also had no idea how good he would become.

When Brunson became a restricted free agent in 2022, the Knicks offered him a four-year deal worth $104 million. The Mavericks could have matched their offer and retained Brunson, but they let him walk. It was just too much money.

Then, on February 2nd of 2025, Nico Harrison traded Luka Doncic. Yes. Less than a year after he took the Mavericks to the NBA Finals, he traded Luka Doncic… to the Lakers.

Now Jalen Brunson is scoring 30 points in game 1 of the NBA Finals, and Luka has continued to prove what a special talent he is in the league. And well, the Mavs are left with neither.

(Cooper Flagg is a good consolation though.)

The 4x100 final at the 2012 London Olympics is arguably the greatest race of all time.

Jamaica and the United States were the heavy favorites in the final and they didn’t disappoint. Both countries blew away the competition and finished 1st and 2nd place by a considerably long margin.

Both countries broke the previous world record, and Yohan Blake ran what some track fans consider the greatest leg of all time, setting up Usain Bolt to handle the final leg and capture the gold medal for Jamaica.

The art of interpolation is one of hip-hop’s most fascinating creative tools. At its best, it goes far beyond borrowing a melody or phrase — it becomes a reflection of an artist’s musical curiosity, influences and imagination. It reveals not only what a rapper listens to, but how they can transform familiar pieces into something entirely new.

Few records embody that process better than “Method Man.”

It may not feature hip-hop’s most intricate beat or most lyrical verses, but it could be the greatest musical “Frankenstein” ever assembled. Stitched together piece by piece while pulling from an unlikely collection of sources: jazz, funk, rock, proto-rap, children’s television, animation, nursery rhymes and Disney. On paper, it would never work, but the execution made it a masterpiece.

What’s even more remarkable is that before the song existed, neither did “Method Man.” At the time, the future Wu-Tang star was known around Staten Island as “Shakwon the Panty Raider.” One day he came to the studio and RZA played the beat, Shakwon the Panty Raider stepped in the booth and came out with what would become one of Wu-Tang Clan’s defining records. As the song spread throughout New York, so did its title. Soon, people stopped calling him by his old nickname and began referring to him as “Method Man”. The record didn’t just launch his career — it gave him his identity.

The ingredients behind the song are as unorthodox as hip-hop itself: jazz, funk, pop, rock, cosmic Chicago grooves, cartoons, children’s programming and nursery rhymes, all filtered through the imagination of a 16 year old kid from Staten Island that absorbed everything he heard.

Shakwon the Panty Raider walked into that session. Method Man walked out.

Shakwon the Panty Raider walked into that session. Method Man walked out.
Drake’s rollout for “Iceman” has been hidden in plain sight.

It started with Drake’s YouTube livestreams in which he gave fans a taste of his new music as he drove around Toronto in an Iceman delivery truck

Outside of the streams, Drake hasn’t been in front of the camera. Instead, he’s using other celebrities to help him introduce the project. Yeat’s music video for “Made It On Our Own” is a shot-for-shot recreation of Drake’s “Toosie Slide.” But the real talking point is the ending - a cameo made by Caleb Williams (aka The Iceman). This is a subtle hint and promotion for the upcoming release.

The most subliminal hint in “Iceman’s” rollout is the Bell Canada advertisement that Drake shared with fans.

The ad features Toronto’s 416 area code which is synonymous with Drake’s branding. However, the advertisement notes that the country code of “+1” needs to be paired with the area code to complete a call. This created speculation that Drake would release “Iceman” on Friday, April 17 since the numbers for the date - 417 (4/17) - would be the sum of the equation “416 + 1.”

Do you think The Iceman is coming today?

Michelle Obama’s story is what really makes America great.

Born in Chicago’s South Side to a city water plant worker and a secretary, Michelle would go on to receive a Bachelors Degree from Princeton University and a Law Degree at Harvard University.

As First Lady of the United States, she always represented our country with grace, humility and class. People like Michelle, who through hard work and a RESPECT for others, rose to the mountaintop, is what this country is all about.

One of the wildest moments in baseball history

In 2001, Randy Johnson threw a routine fastball… and a dove flew straight into it near home plate.

The odds? Almost impossible. A 95+ mph pitch meeting a bird at that exact point in space and time is the kind of moment you genuinely can’t script.

It was so shocking that even PETA reportedly looked into it.

Johnson went on to become a National Baseball Hall of Fame inductee, one of the most dominant pitchers ever… but somehow, this is still one of the first clips people think of.
