Peeling the first two Pokémon cards EVER 😅 On October 15, 1996, the first two official Pokémon Trading Cards were released from within Corocoro Comic #223 — a “glossy” Jigglypuff & Pikachu The only way to obtain these cards was to literally “peel” them from the sheet inside. In the past 30 years, over 1400 Pikachus have been submitted for grading… and not a single one has ever graded a PSA 10. The Corocoro Comic #223 is a finite piece of Pokémon history, and removing the cards drastically reduces the book’s value, as it’s considered “incomplete” BUT, if this Pikachu grades a PSA 10… how much do you think it would be worth?!
