The backstage view behind the process of designing the Spirit of the Sea project. This was the very first projected where i decided to break every rule i knew and concentrate on telling not only the story but design every layer of of flow/ contrast / background ratio / eye attention and many other details. Very noticable aspect of this bracelet is how the flow of elements is beeing contained (divers helmet part) to force the eye to take a split second longer to look at divers helmet. On other links that is beeing accomplished with size and shading of the surrounding elements. The bigger elements surrounding seahorse are designed to continue the flow and for seahorse’s shading to be the element that catches the eye. This is very important layer to consider during the process becouse this can change total appearance of the bracelet considerably. Scrollwork flow and arrangment adjusted to serve the purpouse to compliment curves and shape of the bracelet and also can be altered to serve different purpouses when merged with one of the “heroes” of the story.
