My top florist tips: 1. Use curly willow for inside of your vase to help with design 2. Sprite + bleach. Use my flower food hack for longer lasting flowers 3. Give tulips a shower. Wash the dirt off of tulips after you clean them. The tulip heads love water too. Arrange 60 tulips like this: 1. Clean most of the leaves off of each tulip. 2. Line up each tulip side by side neatly. Try to keep all the stems straight. Tulip heads all the same height. 3. Stack the tulips into a pyramid. 4. Grab all the stems together. 5. Use a clear hair tie and tie it once around the stems. 6. Cut the stems straight across using a sharp knife. 7. Straighten out and adjust each tulip. 8. Measure to the vase and re-cut as needed. 9. Use a penny for good luck (and to help keep the bacteria away).
