At 6’4”, 220 pounds, Beck has prototypical NFL size and plenty of experience after 43 college starts. He still has to prove he can consistently handle NFL pressure and avoid mistakes, but if he develops properly, Arizona may have gotten a legitimate starting-QB talent in the third round. You’ll see players get hurt after barely being touched, quarterbacks go down on normal throws, or a star player randomly suffer a major injury on a play that looked harmless. Then there are the classic Madden bugs. Players teleport into tackles, defenders make impossible interceptions, bodies fly through the air, footballs go through hands, and animations randomly send players in the wrong direction. His improvement from his first LSU season to his second was massive. He ended up winning the 2023 Heisman Trophy, and it was completely deserved. Daniels finished his LSU career looking like one of the most dangerous dual-threat quarterbacks college football had seen in years.
