The Falcons are really a disappointment 💀 The Falcons have become one of the NFL’s most frustrating franchises. Despite having talented players like Bijan Robinson, Drake London, Chris Lindstrom, and Jessie Bates, they haven’t turned that talent into consistent winning. They’ve finished 8-9 in back-to-back seasons, missed the playoffs for years, and have developed a reputation for finding painful ways to lose close games. What’s even more frustrating is that Atlanta is rarely terrible enough to earn a top draft pick, but rarely good enough to be a real contender. They’ve cycled through coaches, quarterbacks, and front-office changes while never breaking through. Going into 2026, there’s still plenty of uncertainty, especially at quarterback, and many analysts believe they’ll once again be fighting just to stay around .500 rather than competing for a championship. For Falcons fans, the biggest disappointment is that the team has had the talent to be much better. Ever since the infamous 28-3 Super Bowl collapse, it feels like the franchise has struggled to escape that shadow. Every offseason brings hope, but every season seems to end with another missed opportunity. Their win over Dallas showed how exciting the offense can be with Jaxson Dart, Malik Nabers and Cam Skattebo together. John Harbaugh has also brought a fresh feel to the team. They finally have young players fans can be excited about on both sides of the ball. When they’re healthy, the Giants look faster, more confident and much more capable of competing. Dart’s knee injury is a huge setback for this season, but it doesn’t erase the progress they’ve made. The Giants have a stronger foundation now, and there’s a lot more reason to believe in their future.
