I know I’m biased when it comes to natural stone, but marble doesn’t deserve the bad reputation it gets… especially in bathrooms. The issue isn’t marble, it’s not sealing it. A proper epoxy seal keeps water beading and moving to the drain instead of sitting and soaking in, which is key since marble and grout are both porous (and grout will absolutely betray you if given the chance). Bonus, sealing also enhances the color so the stone always looks rich and intentional. Reapply about once a year, or when the water stops beading. If it’s just sitting there… that’s your sign.
