Finally got my hands on the @stillherenewyork Sport Jean in Pear - here are my notes • I’m probably a UK 6 at the moment. Usually a waist 23/24 in jeans. I wear a 23 in The Row Eglitta and all my Citizens of Humanity jeans • Ordered both the 23 and 24 because I knew they’d sell out • Girls online say to size down as they stretch - some kept their usual size and had them altered later • Others said it depends on the look: TTS or one size up if you want them more relaxed with a little room • Size down if you want them really fitted on the waist and bum • Both sizes fit well, but the 23 felt a little tight around the crotch area - and I know I’d have to feel slightly uncomfortable for them to work, so I’m keeping the 24 • Love them when the elastic ankle tie is pulled tight. I’m 5’1 so the extra fabric feels a little heavy around the ankle • Think I’m going to have them shortened slightly 📞 Diana @scobies_valetservice • Will report back in a few weeks on stretch etc. Hope that helps if you were debating sizing 🍐

Couldn’t wait - Had the length of those @stillherenewyork Sport Jeans altered and now I’m not taking them off. I’m a firm believer in tailoring things to fit exactly how I want them to. One of my fave looks from the fitting room. Usually I leave and try to recreate the feeling for less. The trousers? My Leset Nando pants already do the job. I’m still on the hunt for the perfect white vest (I’ve shared the best ones I’ve found in Stories). The yellow cashmere, though… I’ve been searching for an alternative since the start of the season and nothing came close, so this one came home. Ignore the sizing - was just to try for the feel. And excuse the whispering… post cold, and I’m trying not to get told off.

The VB utility jacket in stone beige (with a soft mint undertone) made my cobalt version at home - still with tags - feel a little too now. My SA also pulled the Jil Sander organza navy trousers which I’ve been searching for alternatives (two weeks deep), and a wildcard: the Dries fringe skirt. She simply said, “have fun” - which is the whole point, really. Fell for all three. VB jacket + Dries trousers came home (alterations pending, trusting the vision). Cobalt is going back - beautiful, but the beige will last. Skirt saved for an event

Went to @theofficialselfridges before the doors opened as @khaite has just started stocking accessories there — one of my forever favourites. Went in knowing exactly what I wanted to see (the suede clutch), but of course fell for the cult studded leather in a new colourway… and a very me column skirt. Also, everyone needs a @salrusty to shop with.
