Heartbroken doesn’t even begin to cover it. Catherine O’Hara was one of a kind. A rare light in this world and her passing hits with a weight I can’t fully put into words. She wasn’t just a legendary artist, actor and comedian. She was an ambassador for Canada in the truest sense: brilliant, fearless, deeply original, and so full of humanity. She made the world laugh, but she also made people feel seen. As an artist, she inspired me more than she’ll ever know. She set the bar for what it means to represent your country with excellence and grace and all without ever losing warmth or humility. My heart is broken for her family, her loved ones, and everyone who adored her, both here in Canada and around the world. If you’re grieving this loss, you’re not alone. We’re all holding a piece of this sadness together. Rest easy, Catherine. Thank you for everything. 🇨🇦❤️

Trying to put this past weekend into words feels almost impossible. Faith has always been woven into my life, little me in that white First Communion outfit is proof of that. God has quietly remained at the center of everything I do and when I look back on my life and career, I can see his hand in all of it: in my family, my friends, everyone I’ve worked with, and in all of you. Standing in the Vatican with my family, meeting the Pope, and performing for such beautiful souls is something I will carry with me forever. I’ve always believed there’s a light in each of us, and this experience renewed mine in a way I didn’t expect. I’m deeply grateful and humbled to have shared my music in this setting. As we move into the holiday season, I hope you find moments of peace, connection, and comfort. Whatever you may be holding, I hope it feels a little lighter. And may we keep choosing gentleness with ourselves and with one another. — Intentar expresar con palabras lo que sentí este fin de semana es casi imposible. La fe siempre ha sido parte integral de mi vida; mi infancia, con ese vestido blanco de Primera Comunión, es prueba de ello. To share a few moments with someone whose kindness, humility, and compassion have touched so many was truly unforgettable. This day has filled us with peace, hope and a renewed sense of faith and we are deeply grateful. — Stare di fronte a Sua Santità, Papa Leone XIV, insieme a mia moglie Lu, ai miei genitori e ai miei amici è stata un’esperienza che ha superato qualsiasi cosa avremmo potuto sognare. Condividere qualche momento con qualcuno la cui gentilezza, umiltà e compassione hanno toccato così tante persone è stato davvero indimenticabile. Questa giornata ci ha riempito di pace, speranza e un rinnovato senso di fede e ne siamo profondamente grati. — Estar ante Su Santidad el Papa León XIV, junto con mi esposa Lu, mis padres y amigos, fue una experiencia inimaginable.
