Happy Juneteenth my girls! Today my mom got her very first quick weave and I’m so happy I got to do it. 😊 One of the challenges of aging is the changes we see with our hair, so my mom is trying out different things to see what works best alongside the recommendations of her dermatologist. Her hair has always been really fine, so this is how I laid her tracks to make sure the back was very flat so her ponytail would lay over it easily. The molding spray, wig cap, hair tint spray & flat irons are from @redbykiss . The hair used is @sensationnel_hair Empire Yaki in 12 & 14 inches in the Color M51 from @indybeauty.in . Heyyyy My Girls! As promised, here’s the detailed tutorial on how I was able to achieve this minimal leave out, seamless flip over. The hair is @curlsqueenofficial Light Yaki and it came colored as shown in the video. Any texture hair can achieve this look, even my fine hair girlies. If your hair is extremely fine, add a small amount of spray that matches your hair color between the quick weave and your edges and it’ll blend perfectly. Heyyy my girls! My niece came home from college for the weekend and wanted to get her hair done so of course I was going to do it. For this style I used the no leave out no Tracks showing method that I posted when I did her hair a few years ago. I used @shakengo_hair Organique bundles in the texture Sunset Curl in the color 530 from my local beauty supply @indybeauty.in . @redbykiss Freeze spray for my ponytail mold & @lusterspink Glosser for finishing touches. To say I was STRESSED before this trip just does not do it justice. 😂 when I say I was literally on the phone w my momma having a whole meltdown! I know she was thinking girl please bffr 😂🤣😭 I placed an order for my outfits 3 weeks before my trip and it didn’t arrive, so I had to overnight from fashion nova and when you’re top heavy their clothes are such hit or miss. Like why does this large top only cover my areola 😂😭 I planned to wear this outfit with tapes like I typically do but the top kept slipping and sliding and I just knew I would not be comfortable all night messing around with it so I had to improvise. Although I still feel like my meltdown was for good reason, it was also a reminder that things happen that are out of our control and we just have to make it do what it do regardless. Heyy my girls! My momma is back for another quick weave, this time a flip over I’m loving doing these styles on her on top of the time we get to chat and catch each other up. The hair we are using is Empire in the shade M51 & the Barrel Irons are by hot tools in 1 inch. She wants a bob so I’m assuming we will do one of those soon unless she sends me something else she likes. This quick weave turned out so pretty and looks really natural on her. Heyyy my girls! Let’s get ready for my trip to Panama by doing the trending Cassie style as a quickweave with no leave out. For this style I used $100 Lolla Bundles from my local beauty supply @indybeauty.in and I was so surprised with how well this hair performed. The curls have held through the airport and overnight before I needed to curl my hair again. I’m very happy with how this hairstyle turned out because it is pretty tedious to do on yourself to ensure no tracks are exposed and that the hair falls right. Heyyy my girls!! After 5 long months, I’m finally doing the Robert she asked for about 4 hairstyles ago 😂😅. Heyyy My Girls! One of my best friends needed a sew in for her birthday, but she is not a hair person AT ALL yall 😂😅 so I made the executive decision (with her approval of course) to do a curly flip over sew in with minimal leave out. For this look, we used these beautiful Wet & Wavy, DreamWeaver bundles by @modelmodel_hair . The luster and texture on these bundles is nothing like I’ve EVER seen on wet & wavy hair and I am absolutely a fan and will be installing this exact hair on myself asap 😂 (before I forget, let me add, no, I am not taking clients my girls. My mom @whoozdatlady got her quick weave taken down, & she loved her hair so much, she wanted it redone the EXACT same way again 😂😂 but instead she got a simple temporary style, & then she came back to get a sleek ponytail. Nevertheless, y’all asked for videos with my mom to be a series so I wanted to share the process of taking her quick weave down because there is such a huge misconception around hair glue removal when there are so many quick & safe methods to install and take down! If washing it out isn’t your cup of tea, try purchasing a bottle of glue removal from your local beauty supply and be sure to follow the directions on the bottle. The hair used is Empire in the shade M51 & the hairspray is @redbykiss freeze spray which I loveeeeeeeee so much. Heyyyy my girls! Here’s a $47 Hairstyle Because Rent is Due & @shakengo_hair hasn’t let up yet on putting out fire textures with this Organique Hair!! 🤭🤭 This texture is the Burmese Wave and the way this hair exceeded my expectations is amazing! It was soft and the curl pattern absolutely mimics human hair bundles. This texture can be found at your local beauty supply for about $12 & I used 3 packs The remaining $11 covers the cap, a small bottle of glue, and small bottle of glue protectant. For this style, I just did a good ol fashion invisible part quick weave. This allowed me to not have any leave out without using a closure. I love doing invisible part quick weaves with curly hair as opposed to straight hair. There are many ways to achieve an invisible part, this is just the way that worked best for this particular hairstyle. Be sure to get that rent paid in a cpl days! Hey My Girls! Here’s a $60 Hairstyle Because Rent is Due! My niece is in high school now 🥺 so we had to get her diy color 😅 and locs together. Although I’m not a loctician by any means, I really love the way her hair turned out. She’s so much like me when it comes to being into hair, lashes and all things beauty while simultaneously playing sports & I love that for her. Heyyy my girls, let’s turn this loft into luxury & on a budget. After months, I finally got my bedroom put together and it cost me about $800 including my bed which i assembled in another video. I’m so happy to finally have this room together with the exception of putting this tv downstairs and getting one just a tad bit smaller. This one was $214 from @walmart and is 58 inches and I couldn’t pass it up bc I loved my last Hisense before I accidentally broke it when I moved in 😫😭😅 I had to get me a canopy for my bed bc I always wanted one as a little girl 🤭😊 not sure how long it’s going to last tho bc Bear has been trying to swing from it non stop. I told yall I have about 5 recipes in my repertoire & dassit, but I’m determined to add some more so I recorded my momma @whoozdatlady peach cobbler recipe so I can learn & just decided to share with yall. Ask my momma for recipe details that I missed bc idk my girl . 😂😂
Cast iron skillet, 2 boxes of @pillsbury pie crust, salted butter, 2 cups white sugar, 1 cup brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, 4 1.8 lbs cans of drained @delmonte peaches, (optional a little @torani salted caramel syrup) . Preheat oven to 400 & cook for about 45 mins. Let rest 30 minutes to cool. #fyp #recipe #peachcobbler #cooking

Heyyy my girls! It’s a shame you keep getting a “Hey Boo” text and can’t do anything about it because you don’t know how to do your own hair. 😂😅😭 It’s time to lock in and start practicing. I know the process of learning is hard, but it’s so worth it. Take your time and trust the process. The bundles and closure I’m using are from my local beauty supply @indybeauty.in . The bundles are Pink Lemon Gold and the luster and movement on this hair is second to none. I wish I would’ve left it straight but I really wanted to see how well it curled and while it did curl nicely, I do think the curls could’ve lasted a little bit longer since this is supposed to be an upgrade of the original. Nevertheless, I would definitely recommend this hair for a quick weave option especially because of how full it is and because the bundles are all the same length.
