Happy Juneteenth my girls! Today my mom got her very first quick weave and I’m so happy I got to do it. 😊 One of the challenges of aging is the changes we see with our hair, so my mom is trying out different things to see what works best alongside the recommendations of her dermatologist. Her hair has always been really fine, so this is how I laid her tracks to make sure the back was very flat so her ponytail would lay over it easily. The molding spray, wig cap, hair tint spray & flat irons are from @redbykiss . The hair used is @sensationnel_hair Empire Yaki in 12 & 14 inches in the Color M51 from @indybeauty.in . Heyyy My Girls! Let’s start the process of prepping our new home for move in. I’m starting by using @raid to ensure there will be no bugs of any kind in the home once I’m moved in because one thing I’m not playing about is bugs in my home. I’m just so beyond thankful that I was able to get this whole situation resolved in a couple weeks by using @apartmentscom because the last thing I needed was to be down to the wire & start stressing and overthinking (because i will make up a “what if” scenario with the quickness) 😂🤣😭 nevertheless, God is SO good because it didn’t even come down to that! To say I was STRESSED before this trip just does not do it justice. 😂 when I say I was literally on the phone w my momma having a whole meltdown! I know she was thinking girl please bffr 😂🤣😭 I placed an order for my outfits 3 weeks before my trip and it didn’t arrive, so I had to overnight from fashion nova and when you’re top heavy their clothes are such hit or miss. Like why does this large top only cover my areola 😂😭 I planned to wear this outfit with tapes like I typically do but the top kept slipping and sliding and I just knew I would not be comfortable all night messing around with it so I had to improvise. This place was everything I prayed for 3 years ago as a first time mom that needed a new home after staying with my dad a few months with my newborn. It was everything I needed when I needed it. No matter WHAT was going on in the world, baby I was going to go home where everything would be alright & nothing mattered but the peace of me & my son. For this style I used $100 Lolla Bundles from my local beauty supply @indybeauty.in and I was so surprised with how well this hair performed. The curls have held through the airport and overnight before I needed to curl my hair again. Loft To Luxury On A Budget Ep. 1 & Today we Are putting together Bear’s bathroom. It was VERY important for me to focus on getting his space set up first so that he could be as comfortable as possible during this abrupt move. Deciding to start on his bathroom was an easy decision for me Bear is fully potty trained and I didn’t want to risk him going through a regression due to his environment being different. Although I’m not a loctician by any means, I really love the way her hair turned out. She’s so much like me when it comes to being into hair, lashes and all things beauty while simultaneously playing sports & I love that for her. Hey My Girls! Here’s a $60 Hairstyle Because Rent is Due! My niece is in high school now 🥺 so we had to get her diy color 😅 and locs together. Although I’m not a loctician by any means, I really love the way her hair turned out. She’s so much like me when it comes to being into hair, lashes and all things beauty while simultaneously playing sports & I love that for her.
