We really should have used AI for this...

Our Creative Director asked if we could cover this 250 m² green with golf balls. First, we had to do the maths 👇

1️⃣ A golf ball’s diameter = 42.67 mm (0.04267 m)

Footprint area = π × r² = 0.00143 m²
2️⃣ Divide the green by that area:

250 m² ÷ 0.00143 m² ≈ 174,825 golf balls

✅ Final Answer: about 175,000 balls to cover a green (no gaps). Spoilers, we failed. But we gave it a mighty good go, and with no special effects.

POV: Your brand makes films not ads.

For our AW25 collection the team travelled to Iceland to put our Foulweather collection to the ultimate test. On that barren monochromatic coastline, golf persists through freezing winters, brutal winds, and even volcanic eruptions. But what left a lasting impression wasn’t the drama of the conditions or the landscape, but the quiet, no-fuss resolve of the people who played through them.

We hope the same substance runs through this collection. Perhaps it will help to steer you through the winter. For it is here, and it is unrelenting.

Australian golfer Ryan Peake’s path to The 153rd Open is anything but ordinary. His journey is one of mistakes owned, redemption earned, and persistence rewarded.

As a junior, Ryan Peake outshone names like Cam Smith on the Australian circuit. But after drifting from the game, he found belonging in one of the country’s most notorious biker gangs. Within six months, an assault charge saw him sentenced to five years in prison. It was behind bars that he began to rebuild — shedding 80 pounds, cutting ties with the Rebels, and training under one of Australia’s top coaches. The hard work paid off. Peake won the New Zealand Open, secured his spot at The Open, and reminded the world what resilience looks like.

From prison to Portrush, is Ryan the most unlikely golfer at The Open?

We failed. But if you can guess how many balls we actually used in this shoot, you’ll win a £50 MANORS voucher. Drop your guess below ⬇️

This was possible because 3 different courses donated their range balls for us to do this shoot for £0. They just wanted to help. People from Iceland are amazing. Thanks Thordur and Kiðaberg golf club.

The Bethpage overnight line is an institution and now that St Andrews no longer does their walk up line, I'm pretty sure it's the only place where anything like this exists. Where else can you guarantee yourself a tee time at a world-class golf course just by showing up?

Get there earlier than you think, bring dinner, and always make a point to chat up the people in the cars around you. One thing's for sure-- everyone in the overnight lot is a bona-fide golf sicko. And that's right where we always want to be!

Starting July 7th, all play on the Black Course will be walk-up only which means the overnight lot will have a ton of capacity. Showing up solo is the easiest way to get an early time, but the experience of camping out with a large group is tough to beat. Get on out there and tell em that we sent ya!

How much do modern clubs really help us play better golf?

And at what point do they stop adding yards - and start taking away the simplicity that made us love the game in the first place?

To find out, James travelled to the ancient links of Royal St David’s, where the challenge was straightforward in theory and formidable in practice:

Every time he breaks par, his clubs jump 30 years back in time. And in each era, he only has 24 hours to make it count.

Can he chase generations of golfing excellence before the clock runs out?
Or will the plus fours and hickories remain caked in dust and cobwebs?

Tiger Woods once spotted a 2-gram difference in a driver.

Kobe Bryant once noticed a rim was a quarter of an inch too low.

Two stories, years apart, with the same recurring theme: the greatest see and feel what others can’t.

For world-class athletes, details are never insignificant.

They’re everything.

Moe Norman is one of golf’s great enigmas.

Born in 1929 in the industrial town of Kitchener, Canada, Moe grew up with little money, a slight frame, and an obsessive nature that drew him to golf. He would cut down the grass in a field with his club and hit balls until his hands bled. Locals called him the “golf terrorist” after he smashed the same neighbour’s window 11 times, shouting “bullseye” each time.

The obsession paid off. Moe went on to win 55 amateur titles, set over 30 course records (including three 59s), and once played 12 Canadian Tour events in a year—winning five and finishing second in another five. He also went seven straight years without hitting a single shot out of bounds.

His swing, though, was unlike anything the game had seen: wide stance, ruler-straight arms, firm grip, short backswing. Spectators laughed. Moe didn’t care. “People see trees and water,” he said. “I just see fairways and greens.”

He played so fast he’d sometimes lie down in the fairway pretending to nap while his partners hit. At the Masters he once struck his opening tee shot mid-introduction. Another time, needing only to avoid disaster with a three-shot lead, he putted into a bunker on purpose, got up and down, and won anyway.

Moe was socially withdrawn, possibly the result of a childhood accident and undiagnosed autism, but his confidence was unshakable. Asked when he last hit a bad shot, his reply was simple: “Thirty years ago.”

Tiger Woods once said of him: “He woke up every day knowing he was going to hit it well.” Ben Hogan called him the greatest ball-striker alive.

Moe Norman: golf’s misunderstood genius.

Not very many people have access to a public, affordable Seth Raynor golf course — but @coursemaps has one right in his backyard in NYC. We asked him to share some of his favorite spots to golf around the city, so he had to start with a course he thinks is the best value anywhere around.

All 18 holes at Francis Byrne are full of character, but perhaps the best part about this spot is that a weekend round can be had for a mere $80. It’s one of the best courses around the city, extremely affordable for NYC golf, and incredibly easy to get to. That’s a tough combo to beat!

This is the only golf course in the world where your shot can stay in the air for over an hour.

Tornio Golf Club straddles the border of Finland and Sweden. 11 holes in Finland, 7 in Sweden, and 4 crossings between time zones. On the 6th hole, a 132-yard par 3, you can tee off in Sweden at 1:00pm and watch your ball land in Finland at 2:05pm. Add in 24-hour daylight during midsummer and you’ve got one of the most surreal golf experiences on Earth.
