the perfect day in tahoe ✨🌱💕🏔️ (ad) rode the famous east shore bike path on the north side of tahoe on my @lectricebikes XP4 e-bike!! This is our second summer with these bikes and they are our main modes of transportation all summer. With the added pet carriers, they can still come with us on longer adventures without Tonkins having to walk every mile himself. The XP4 gives us the freedom to cover more ground, explore farther from camp, and bring the pets along without worrying about wearing them out. And having the pedal assist makes carrying the extra weight of a pet + carrier feel a whole lot more manageable, especially on hills. Honestly, we didn’t expect our lectric e-bikes to become one of the most useful things we own 😂 Now that we’re moving the cabin to the back of our 5 acres, we’re realizing just how far away everything is. What used to be a quick walk to grab something from the shed has turned into a whole trip. So these have become our little workhorses, hauling supplies back and forth, riding the gravel driveway and trails, and making life around here a little easier. And when we’re not using them for work… they’re just really fun to ride. #partner #ebikes

Our @lectricebikes XP4s have opened up a whole new world of adventure for us. On our latest trip, we rode them along Oregon’s historic Columbia River Gorge Highway State Trail. Built between 1913 and 1922, the 73-mile Columbia River Highway was designed to showcase the most breathtaking sights in the Gorge. With its graceful curves, rock walls, tunnels, and bridges, it earned the nickname “King of Roads.” Lined with waterfalls and sweeping views of the Columbia River, it became known as America’s first scenic highway. Over the years, much of the original highway was lost when Interstate 84 was built in the 1950s and 60s. But since 1987, the Oregon Department of Transportation has been working hard to restore and reconnect what’s now called the Historic Columbia River Highway. Today, 69 of the original 73 miles are open again, some for cars, others as scenic bike and walking trails that follow the old route through the Gorge. Only four miles remain to complete the full connection. Some of the most spectacular renovations were digging out the Mosier Twin Tunnels and building a replica of the Mitchel Point Tunnel, which was destroyed in 1966. It’s easily one of the most jaw-dropping and diverse rides we’ve ever done: waterfalls, tunnels, cliffs, and nonstop views of the Gorge. The trail is open to bikers, hikers, and runners, and dogs are welcome too (on a leash no longer than six feet). #lectricpartner #lectricebikes #columbiarivergorge

I can’t believe I waited this long to try an e-bike because they’re a blast. I got the @lectricebikes Expedition2 because it’s such a great way to get around with kids. We rode 9 miles to the perfect little picnic spot in the woods, definitely way more ground than we could’ve covered on foot! Since we’re currently a 1 car household we’ve also been using it for daily errands around town, and school drop-off/pick-up. It’s so nice to avoid traffic and not have to hunt for parking! A few more reasons we love our @lectricbikes ✔️Comfy & smooth ride. ✔️ Built & tested for family safety. ✔️ Cargo bags that hold so much stuff! Turns out the largest rock on earth (actually) is less than 5 miles from our house! So I took Pearl to go see it. And let’s just say... It’s not small… We rode our eBike from @lectricebikes so Pearl could feel the wind in her hair and I wouldn’t have to pedal a bike through sand in 90+ degree weather—I barely broke a sweat. Also, the tires on the XP4 are 4in wide so it does pretty well in the sand. And since it’s a folding bike, we look forward to bringing it on our upcoming adventures in the van!
