Curious about what happens when you combine a physical privacy screen protector with the built-in privacy display on the new Galaxy S26 Ultra? I decided to test it out so you don’t have to. While it certainly keeps wandering eyes away, stacking both features introduces a significant amount of grain and completely compromises the display quality. My recommendation is to stick to just one method—either the screen protector or the software feature—but definitely avoid using both at the same time. A lot of you have asked about the case on my Galaxy S26 Ultra.
Here is a quick breakdown of why the Freewell case is my preferred setup for mobile content creation. I added a MagSafe ring for attaching external storage. It did not come with the case. The standout feature is the specialized camera bump. It includes a built-in 17mm mount for Freewell’s anamorphic lenses, which use a clever slide-in system for custom flares like neutral, blue, or gold.
It also features a seamless magnetic mounting system, allowing you to quickly snap on ND filters (from ND8 to ND64) or a snow mist filter to perfectly expose your shots in any lighting condition.
