Two light night photography with @amarancreators Ace 25c After my first successful session with amaran Ace 25c, I decided I wanted to try two lights for night photography. There are tons of different looks as well as more power with a second light. I used the second light in parallel with the first light to get more power and the “flashlight” look at night. The next look that I tried was a complementary light scheme. I took one light and placed it inside the building and used the second light on the camera with a complementary color to achieve this look. Minimizes light spill on my background - Generally the best way to reduce spill on your background is to move your product and light source further away however sometimes we do not have the option to do that and this is where the grid comes in handy as you can have your product and light a lot closer to your background and still get minimal light spill. 2. Focus lighting - By focusing the light, a grid helps create deeper shadows and more contrast, giving your product shots a more dramatic and high-end look. As you can see by the before and after it almost looks like I have added a bit of contrast to the ‘after’ shot however these are both SOOC(Straight out of camera) clips. 3. And lastly It just looks cool! 😎 If you had no idea what that odd shaped thing with holes in it was… well now you do!🙌
