SEQUENCE SEQUENCE SEQUENCE! Velo doesn’t come from effort, it comes from correct order Grateful for @ogxsoftball for teaching me proper sequence! Now it’s up to me to figure out how to get my body there. And plyos help me do that! Plyo ball work is beautiful for this.. the load changes the tempo so I can train my sequence. Plyos are where I rebuild patterns! Not power. & remember, clean reps create fast reps 😉

Softball today is not the same game it was 10 or 20 years ago. Ashley explains why relying on outdated experiences without current information creates confusion and holds athletes back. Better access to data is changing the game, but only if we use it. Episode 93 is live.

A small change in arm path can throw off everything. When arm path breaks down, trunk-arm timing gets disrupted and energy does not transfer efficiently. That means less velocity, less command, and inconsistent performance.

We are so excited to announce that OGX has partnered with Driveline Baseball to co-found Driveline Softball. This is a massive deal for softball and we mean that. Ashley and I are leading Driveline Softball and our entire staff is coming with us. What is new is the backing of the most data-driven baseball development organization in the world, now fully invested in softball. That means better technology, a training app, improved tracking, and data integration plus direct access to sport scientists and R&D that will push the game forward faster than ever. The game will never be the same. For athletes, that means a smarter, more seamless training experience with tools built to help you get where you are going faster. For college programs, that means a development partner with the systems, science, and expertise to keep up with and stay ahead of what your athletes need. We are also expanding. In-person training is coming to Driveline locations in Tampa, Phoenix, and Washington. More details very soon. This is softball getting what it deserves. We are just getting started.
