Tonight marks the 500th game behind the bench for Warriors Head Coach Brian Bourque 🙌

Brian was named Head Coach of Waterloo’s men’s hockey program over 20 years ago, in August of 2005. Since then, he continues to add to an already storied legacy.

In both 2007 and 2010, Brian was named the OUA coach of the year. In 2013, he led the Warriors to an OUA West title, their first appearance in the Queen’s Cup since 1996, and a trip to the University Cup national championship tournament.

Brian became the winningest coach in program history in 2018, with a total of 252 career wins to date!

But his on-ice accomplishments are only part of Brian’s legacy. Under Brian’s watch, the team academic average has skyrocketed over 10 percentage points, and hundreds of Warriors have earned academic All-Canadian honours over the past two decades.
