We get a lot of questions about the cooling metal applicator on our Revitalizing Eye Cream - specifically, whether we can offer a refill option.

First, a little context: the metal tip actually screws off so you can separate the components for proper recycling. That part is intentional!
But the applicator itself isn’t an add-on piece that we assemble later. It comes to us as one complete unit with the tube open. Our formula is injected directly into it and then the top is crimped shut. The entire sealing and assembly process is designed this way to protect product integrity, stability, and performance.
To create a refill system, we’d essentially have to redesign the product from the ground up.
It would mean:
 • Asking you to keep and store multiple components safely and sanitarily
 • Engineering and testing a separate refill product
 • Managing two different SKUs (one with the metal tip, one without)
 • Likely offering the refill online only, since retailers typically carry just one version

Producing smaller refill runs would also increase costs - and because there would be more manual assembly on your end, we couldn’t fully guarantee the same seal integrity or performance you expect!

While we care deeply about sustainability and reducing our carbon footprint, introducing two SKUs actually makes the supply chain a lot more complex. And if we can’t confidently ensure the same quality, safety, and experience, we’re not comfortable moving forward just yet.

We genuinely love this question and the idea behind it, and we’re continuing to explore creative solutions that maintain both sustainability and product integrity.
