Congratulations to Castle’s very own Business Development Manager, Richard Hamel for his participation in the Grand Defi Pierre Lavoie – 1000 KM event which took place in Quebec last weekend. Over four days, cycling teams of 5 aim to cover 1000 km, which is divided into 13 stages over several days. Richard was one of the 1,100 cyclists who participated and rode an impressive 135 km! The 1000 KM event benefits the Fondation du Grand défi Pierre Lavoie, which supports research on hereditary diseases and healthy life promotion projects. Congratulations to all participants.

The action-packed 3-day event included a regional member meeting, vendor product showcase and 2-day buying opportunity. The attendees also participated in a variety of group social activities. Castle’s unique one-on-one expo format ensures Castle members meet with all vendors which encourages buying and relationship-building opportunities for both parties. Energy was high and the Castle team received excellent feedback following the event.
