I just spent an amazing 72hrs in Asheville, NC and I can confidently say that everything listed is solo friendly and definitely worth the visit! |AD| @visitasheville Here is everything you should know about each activity. 👇🏾 📍Stay @thefoundryhotel This hotel is absolutely stunning and has everything you’ll need for a short stay. It’s also located just a few mins walk to the downtown area, which makes it really easy to get around and explore. 📍Eat •Table @tableavl This was one of my favorite places, because the food was SO fresh and delicious. I’m still thinking about that salad & and rabbit pasta •The Refinery @refineryavl This breakfast spot is located inside the Foundry hotel. I highly recommend their shrimp & grits •Little Chango @littlechangoavl Has the BEST arepas!! I also recommend their lunchbox entree it’s super filling, but sooo delicious. •Sistas on Montford @sistas_on_montford will definitely give you your soul food fix!! That pork chop was so tender!!! 📍Activities •The Montford Rooftop @montfordparkplayers Super cute rooftop bar! I recommend getting there early for good sunset views •Noir Collective @noircollectiveavl This is one of my favorite places to visit in Asheville! I always leave with something! If you want to support or find local black art, this is definitely the place!! •The Omni Grove Park Inn & Spa @omnigrovepark To say this is the BEST day spa I’ve ever been to, is an understatement!! I highly recommend getting a massage & a day pass and spending the entire day, if you can here. This was one of the best spa experiences I’ve ever had. •One World West @oneworldbrewing If you’re looking for a fun activity to do during the week, check out their salsa dancing class. There’s a $10 fee at the door, but after that you’re free to dance the night away! •Biltmore @biltmoreestate This tour is a MUST! You could easily spend the entire day exploring this estate. There’s on-site restaurants (I recommend grabbing lunch at the Stable Cafe) shopping, wineries…it’s honestly one of the best full day experiences in Asheville. #asheville #visitasheville #thingstodo #northcarolin

Tapalpa was such a gem! If you’re looking for slow mornings, beautiful scenery, and a small, quaint, and welcoming mountain town in Mexico, this is the place. It’s only 2 hours from Guadalajara, so I recommend renting a car or hiring a driver, and you can do everything on this list I’m just 48hrs! 📍Stay @la_toscania This is such a cute family owned hotel with less than 10 rooms, so you get a really cozy intimate vibe here. You can also arrange several experienced like, morning Yoga with @akordeonka and a massage. 📍 Visit Valle de Los Enigmas: One of the most popular spots in Tapalpa, where you’ll find massive rock formations. This is a really cool site to see in person. I highly recommend checking out this site on a horse ride. 📍Lunch @lacavatapalpa This is definitely a must when you’re in Tapalpa and was easily one of my favorite meals of the trip! 📍Explore Centro -Enjoy a traditional drink @larealtapalpa -End the night with a cafe and beautiful views of the plaza @7aromas_tapalpa If you have any questions about my visit, feel free to ask them below! This was probably the best conch salad I’ve ever had, but when I tell you that pepper almost took me OUT!!!! 🥴😂 the color threw me off…I don’t know what color I was expecting the pepper to be, but it wasn’t orange..clearly. 😩 Glad I asked for it on the side 😂😂😂. Guadalajara is one of my favorite cities EVER and 48hrs barely scratches the surface, but if you’re visiting and plan on splitting that time up, this is everything I recommend doing! 📍Stay @villaganz This is literally one of the most beautiful boutique hotels in Guadalajara, on top of you being in one of the best locations 📍Explore local boutiques like @alberguetransitorio! Guadalajara is one of Mexico’s most fashionable cities, so come ready to shop! 📍Have dinner @bruna_mx if you go in the month of September, I highly recommend trying their seasonal chiles en nogada dish. 📍Take a Calandria around the historic downtown: You can usually find them near the major plazas, especially around the Cathedral. The rides typically last about 30–45 minutes, and your local driver may even share a little history about some of the city’s most famous landmarks along the way. 📍Lunch @Karnegaribaldioficial This is a local favorite and an absolute must try when visiting Guadalajara. 📍Evening cocktails @Mecenasbar: This was such a neat cocktail bar! I loved that they make their own liquors, so the drinks are really unique and delicious. They also serve tapas-style plates, so definitely grab a few bites to enjoy with your cocktails. 📍Dinner @lacasadelosplatos If you have any questions about my visit, feel free to ask them below!
