GRIT = passion and perseverance for a long term goal. This is what I believe is the #1 predictor of success. Being able to just stay in the game long enough to figure it out and WIN. People are too quick to move on to the next thing these days!

This was a bucket list trip to be able to visit Mount Athos with my father. This place was everything I expected it to be. My biggest takeaway was the quietness and peace of mind one experiences while on the mountain. It is full of thousands of Orthodox monks who dedicate their lives to prayer, fasting and vigil in pursuit of unity with God and for the salvation of the world. It’s been like this for over a thousand years. Prayer was literally in the air and it had a way of “highjacking” your mind in the best way. I pray that I can take some of that constant prayer and silence back into a world full of unending distraction. Glory to God for all things 🙏
