If you feel stuck, alone or frustrated with how life is going then this is what you need to focus on: 1. Reconnect with nature - take time (15 minutes) every morning to go outside, ground your bare feet on grass and hydrate before you open your screen (bonus points for manual alarm clocks) 2. Prioritise recovery - everyone talks about weights, movement and training but your body is built while you rest. Sleep 8 hours and treat your recovery as seriously as your training 3. Find movement everyday - whether it’s a short walk or a full session let it be a daily occurrence. Build the habit and train the mind 4. Nourish your body - cut all processed sugar and eat whole-foods your skin, body and mind will thank you for it 5. Master your mind - read daily and consume consciously not just to your desires. Remove porn, scrolling and brain rot content from your life. Be critical with everything you consume, it shapes you more than you know 6. Lifelong learning - chase new skills. Set goals and push your limits beyond comfort. Try hard things. Fail often. 7. Find connection - focus more time listening and understanding those around you. Speak to strangers and find friends among people from different walks of life, don’t become an echo chamber. 8. Chase purpose - you may not know your calling yet but is out there. Keep searching. Update on @tryroll: Lots of back testing and a failed demo to the community but we’re learning. Enjoyed ideating with the community on the direction of where we want to take it. Ready for lift off.

Someone once told me: that to truly to change I had to be willing to kill my old self. This comes at the expense of who you are today vs who you want to be tomorrow. Staying the same has a cost and so does change. You always have to pay. One way or another.

The 8 most important days of your life 1. The day you were created. Never forget how incredibly lucky you are to even be here. Chances of being born are 1 in 400 trillion. The chance of us being here all around the same blip of time is even more incredibly unlikely. Be kind to yourself and each other. 2. The day you realise your parents are human too. They’re figuring it out for the first time. First time being parents. First time having a 26 year old. First time for everything. One of the joys of life is figuring it out with them. Not against them. 3. The day you realise no one was thinking about you. For some this comes later. But the beauty of life is everyone is too taught up living their own story. Focus on yours. Build a life worth living. And never let anyone tell you that you can’t. 4. The day you realise everything around you was built by people no smarter than you. Every city, brand, nation was built by people. People just like you. It’s not unrealistic if someone else has it. 5. The day you realise your health (especially the health of your brain) is your most important asset. Your body is physically linked to your head (reminder for anyone who forgot). Look after your body and brain. They are quite useful. 6. The day you find the one worth fighting for. Your perspective will shift. Your motivations will change. Your desire to build awakens not just for youse but for you both. Build the garden and this butterfly will come to you. 7. The day you realise discipline is the greatest form of self respect. An idle mind is the devils workshop. Set goals that scare you and go chase them with relentless passion. 8. The day you realise happiness is a choice. No amount of money will make the decision for you. Waking up is a blessing. Put a smile on your face and greet people with kindness and watch how the world responds. Test if the above is true. Go to your local coffee shop and make an above average effort to be happy, kind and energetic to see the person serving you. Ask them how their day was. Compliment them on their outfit. Watch as they light up and often return the kindness (warning high likelihood of free pastries).
