Or just stay at your desk job 🤷‍♂️
Dear alcohol,

You were fun once.
You made the nights louder, the people closer, and the world softer.
For a while, you allowed me to pretend to be the man I wasn’t.

The truth? You were never freedom.
You were escape disguised as confidence.
A window that cost me clarity.

You made my mornings slower.
My goals smaller.
My excuses larger.

Every hangover was borrowed time.
Every “just one drink” was another day of walking around at 40%.
You took more than you ever gave.

I thought I needed you to connect.
To celebrate.
To relax.

But, things change.
30 days away and you’ll see.

Your baseline settles.
You’re reminded of something you once knew.

Dopamine comes from discipline.
Confidence comes from action.
Earned, not poured.

Hope this finds the right person 🫡

Good things take time my friend.

Nothing is an overnight success even if it seems it from the outside. Every public victory is thousands of hours of private work.

 Keep your head down.

Your time will come 🤝🏾

If you feel stuck, alone or frustrated with how life is going then this is what you need to focus on:

1. Reconnect with nature - take time (15 minutes) every morning to go outside, ground your bare feet on grass and hydrate before you open your screen (bonus points for manual alarm clocks)

2. Prioritise recovery - everyone talks about weights, movement and training but your body is built while you rest. Sleep 8 hours and treat your recovery as seriously as your training

3. Find movement everyday - whether it’s a short walk or a full session let it be a daily occurrence. Build the habit and train the mind

4. Nourish your body - cut all processed sugar and eat whole-foods your skin, body and mind will thank you for it

5. Master your mind - read daily and consume consciously not just to your desires. Remove porn, scrolling and brain rot content from your life. Be critical with everything you consume, it shapes you more than you know

6. Lifelong learning - chase new skills. Set goals and push your limits beyond comfort. Try hard things. Fail often.

7. Find connection - focus more time listening and understanding those around you. Speak to strangers and find friends among people from different walks of life, don’t become an echo chamber.

8. Chase purpose - you may not know your calling yet but is out there. Keep searching.

Update on @tryroll:

Lots of back testing and a failed demo to the community but we’re learning. Enjoyed ideating with the community on the direction of where we want to take it. Ready for lift off.

Choose your hard.
Most people tiptoe through life… just to arrive safely at their grave.

Read that again.

No risks.
No bold moves.
No building the life they actually want.
Just playing small and calling it “responsible.”

You weren’t born to blend in.
You were built to build something that outlives you.

Comfort is the enemy of growth.
And the cost of playing it safe?
A life of “what ifs.”

They’re going to judge you either way. So you might as well let them watch you win.

If you fail, they’ll talk.
If you succeed, they’ll still talk.

Judgment is cheap. Execution is rare.

So let them watch.
Let them whisper.
Let them scroll in silence while you build in public.

Because the moment you stop caring what they think…
Is the moment everything changes.

Silence the noise. Double down. Win out loud.

The Great Equaliser. It doesn’t care who you are.

Billionaire or broke. Madly in love or newly heartbroken. Surrounded by mates or sitting alone in your head.

It’s one of the few places left that’s completely free, yet more valuable than most things people chase.

We spend so much of life pursuing four virtues:
Money. Fame. Power. Pleasure.

Each can build… or destroy.
Money can fund freedom, or fuel ego.
Fame can influence, or isolate.
Power can protect, or corrupt.
Pleasure can heal, or numb.

Cities often become symbols of these pursuits.
New York is money.
LA is fame.
Washington is power.
Ibiza is pleasure.

The beach is different.
You can close a deal at 9am and catch a sunrise surf at 6. It’s a collision of two worlds that in most cities never co-exist.

A melting pot of struggle, success, reflection and celebration. Where no one really knows what anyone else is going through nor has the time or worry to care.

Run your own race.

No one else is going to see it through to the end but you.

Took this photo on a drone a couple years ago and it hangs in my home as a reminder. Inspired by @withmazar in every window.

The further you go, the less people will follow. Business, sport, life are all the same.

Everyone is interested in the idea. Some make it to base camp. But few see the summit. I’ve lost and made friends on my journey. It is all part of the process.

Accept that growth requires friction and the price of becoming rare is isolation. But remember the price of quitting is settling for average.

Everything has a price. Some we pay immediately. Some we pay later.

Assess the opportunity cost of your decisions. Focus in on what you believe in. And minimise the downside.

Finish 2025 strong 🤝🏾

Long run thoughts: you vs you

Just under 60 days out from our first Hyrox in Rome with @alessiopieruccii

I have some serious training to get under way between now and then. Been moving around a lot and although I’ve been training it hasn’t been as dialled as I would like.

Looking forward to some coastal runs with @elastaboy in Lagos. Will need to find a rower and ski erg asap.

Training Plan:
3 x Runs (30-40km a week) which will soon move to 4 x Runs (40-50km a week). Main focus is zone 2 but 1 session will be speed, hills or stairs

4-5 Full Body Sessions (Strength + Conditioning)

Travel Plan:
Lagos, Marrakesh, London, Malta, Croatia, Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Iceland, Italy

Any gym recommendations would be highly appreciated 🤝🏾

Reminder that you are in control
An athlete will never judge you for working out.

A millionaire will never judge you for starting a business.

A content creator will never judge you for filming in public.

How you react is a reflection of your own self talk, emotions and sense of accomplishment.

What does your reaction say about you?

It’s a reminder to never take criticism from someone you wouldn’t take advice from.

To start you have to take action. Regardless of judgement, which is inevitable.

Just start.

Build while they watch.

I now understand how the Egyptians built the pyramids

After some ongoing debate with the landlord we have moved the icey upstairs and dismantled the sauna. Luckily it’s 40+ degrees all week so ice bath took priority. One piece at a time @primal.ice 🤝🏾

How you show up depends on these 4 habits 👇🏾

Physical – How do you show up to your training? How do you treat your body?

Mental – Do you read, reflect, or scroll? Your focus is your mind?

Spiritual – Do you disconnect or distract? Clarity needs quiet.

Accountability – Do you check in or hide out? Progress needs tracking.

These habits shape how you lead, create, and perform.

You don’t rise to your goals.
You fall to your habits.

Choose them with intention.

The path to success is not linear. Neither is progress. Only until we zoom out to years and decades do we see the change. 2015 to 2025, here’s to a decade of change.

Someone once told me: that to truly to change I had to be willing to kill my old self. This comes at the expense of who you are today vs who you want to be tomorrow.

Staying the same has a cost and so does change. You always have to pay. One way or another.

Thanks for all the love on the recent YouTube. Best advice I can give: build the garden and the butterflies will come to you (aka work on yourself and stop chasing the validation from others)
