The new govt of Bengal is an illegitimate govt. It was not elected but rather “selected” by Modi-Tadipar who rigged the elections using their poodle Gyanesh Kumar & the ECI. This is a govt that doesn’t enjoy the people’s mandate. Narratives spun by Noida media & BJP don’t reflect the will of the people. There’s only 2 possibilities now: we either accept that India has ceased to be a democracy where free & fair elections are impossible. Or we reclaim our democracy from compromised institutions & assert that nothing is greater than the will of the people. The litmus test is 2029. They have been kept in Tihar Jail for the last 6 days on the order of a Special Executive Magistrate (SEM). Who is an SEM? He is an ACP-rank (junior) police officer of Delhi Police appointed by the state govt. Therefore, Delhi Police arrested Saurav & Ashutosh & now a Delhi Police ACP (acting as SEM) is keeping them in jail. There’s no FIR against them. There’s also no judicial order. Delhi Police are the accusers & well as the judge when it comes to keeping them in jail. That’s how messed up it is.

KPS Gill was a terrorist who claimed to fight terrorism. He abused the power of his uniform to butcher thousands of innocents in Punjab. KPS Gill needs to be consigned to the dustbin of history for all the blood he has on his hands. That he was a convicted sexual predator is fitting for someone who was drunk on power. Not a word from PM Modi on Venezuela while most global powers have reacted (including China). For years, Modi has claimed that he “leads the Global South”. Being a leader means taking a stand on global issues, earning the respect of world leaders, and running your foreign policy through diplomacy (and not laal aankh or social media pressure). Moment like these are when India misses a great statesman like Dr Manmohan Singh who was deeply respected by the world despite being soft-spoken.
