Getting a new heli this month and I get a lot of questions from people about my heli crash, it’s always the same question why would you get another heli? It’s a simple idea that most people won’t agree with or even argue with me over but to me it’s simple. My father taught me all growing up, a life lesson: WHEN YOU GET KNOCKED OFF THE HORSE, DO YOU LAY IN THE DIRT OR GET BACK ON? DO YOU ALLOW THE FEAR OF YOUR CURRENT SITUATION TO DICTATE YOUR NEXT? This wasn’t just a lesson from my father, it was ingrained in me. While most see someone fall, fail, wreck, get Hurt their first thought is… well don’t do that again. That’s not how I have looked at life and as dumb as it sounds to most, it has served me well.
