The most unreal spot in Tofino! 📍Hot Springs Cove - follow us for information on how to get here!
This is one of the best things to do in Tofino! Hot Springs Cove only accessible by boat so the journey there is part of the adventure. We booked a tour with Ahous Adventures and spent the morning cruising along the coastline for around 1.5 hours spotting bald eagles, sea otters, harbour seals, and even whales along the way. Once we reached the cove, it was about a 2km walk along the boardwalks through the forest to the hot springs where we were able to spend around 2 hours relaxing and doing hot and cold therapy. The water was absolutely beautiful at the hot springs and there were a few different pools to choose from, each one a little cooler as you get closer to the ocean. At the springs, you’ll find toilets and changing rooms. If you’re visiting Tofino on Vancouver Island, add this one to your itinerary. it’s an adventure you won’t forget. Thank you so much to Ahous Adventures for hosting us! #tofino #vancouverinfluencer #vancouverislandbc #hotspring

Welcome to Episode 3 of our “Outdoorsy Date Ideas in Vancouver! ✨ Deep Cove is one of our favourite places for a date because you can make it as relaxed or adventurous as you want. Grab some treats and donuts from @honeysdoughnuts , find a spot by the water, then decide whether you want to spend the afternoon exploring or just hanging out together. And if you’re bringing your pup along, you don’t have to leave them at home 🐶 The beach at Panorama Park has a dog friendly section near the kayak rental, but dogs aren’t allowed in the main swimming beach area. 🚣‍♀️ Want to get out on the water? You can rent kayaks from Deep Cove Kayak Centre. 📍 Deep Cove, North Vancouver Save this for your next sunny date day! 🍩 What’s your favourite Honey’s donut flavour? #VancouverDateNight #VancouverBC #NorthVancouver #vancouverinfluencer

The best post adventure sweet treat! My favourite flavour is Raspberry 😋 This icecream place in Squamish is called Alice and Brohm and has the most delicious fruit icecream. They literally make it in front of you by mixing the berries of your choice with icecream and the result is the creamiest combination or deliciousness. 😋 (Save this post for the next time you are in Squamish) #squamish #vancouverinfluencer #vancouverblogger #britishcolumbiacanada #canadianblogger

A rewarding overnight backpacking trip just outside Vancouver. 🥾🏕️ (and our first one of the year) Half Moon Beach in Golden Ears Provincial Park is a beautiful riverside campground that’s only accessible by hiking in, making it feel like a real adventure. Trail details: 🥾 Distance: 22 km return (11 km each way) ⛰️ Elevation gain: 400m 🐶 Dog-friendly (dogs are welcome on and off leash!) A few things to know before you go: • The trail has some steep sections, fallen trees to climb over, and a few overgrown areas, so come prepared for a bit of a challenge. I did a lot of crawling under trees etc. • You’ll need to reserve a backcountry camping permit through BC Parks before your trip. • Pack everything you’ll need for the night and remember to follow Leave No Trace principles. Have you backpacked to Half Moon Beach before, or is it on your BC bucket list? Our camping dessert: @yvrcookie #vancouverinfluencer #canadianbloggers #backpackingtrip

Jordan River is one of our favourite places on Vancouver Island. After visiting Jordan River multiple times over the past few years, here’s my favourite 2 day itinerary: Day 1 🚢 Catch the ferry from Horseshoe Bay to Nanaimo. 🏡 Check into your cute cabin. We love staying at @ferngullycabins 🌊 Take a walk on Sandcut Beach and find the waterfall. 🍺 Have the best pizza ever and beer at @stokedpizzeria . 🔥 Relax at your cabin and have a little campfire if restrictions allow. Day 2 ☕️ Wake up with coffee 🥾 Hike to the hidden waterfall on Sombrio Beach. 🐠 Walk to Botanical Beach and explore the rockpools. There is so much marine life in them. 🌅 Hike to Mystic Beach for sunset. This is my favourite beach with a waterfall in this area. 🚗 On the way back to the ferry the next day, if you have time stop at Niagara Falls provincial Park. The waterfall here is absolutely epic. ✨ Save this itinerary for your next trip to Jordan River! Have you been to Jordan River before? Come with us to hike the Berg Lake Trail! Day 1 of our Berg Lake adventure 🏔️🥾 Kms hiked: 16km to Emperor Falls Campground Elevation gained: about 800m Prettiest spots to stop: 1. The river leading to Kinney Lake when it first comes into view 2. Kinney Lake Day Use Area 3. Kinney Lake Campground 4. Whitehorn Campground 5. Emperor Falls This was a long day but we started out fresh after staying the night near the trailhead. We really started to feel the exhaustion on the way up to Emperor Falls from Whitehorn Campground because this is the steepest section of the entire trail. TIP: Make sure you fill up your water at Whitehorn because you won’t get to a water source again until Emperor Falls. We stayed the night at Emperor Falls Campground (which was much prettier than we expected) before continuing onto Berg Lake the next day. Hi! We’re Kerry and Dave, 2 Aussies living in Vancouver Canada where we love to hike, travel and go camping together with our dog Winnie. Follow along for days 2, 3 and 4 of the Berg Lake Trail. #berglaketrail #canadianbloggers #travelcanada #canadianinfluencer #mountrobsonprovincialpark

Day 1/4 on the Salkantay Trek 🏔️ 📍 Distance: 20 km 📈 Highest point: Salkantay Pass (4,650 m) 🥵 Hardest day of the trek Day one was no joke. It was steep and the altitude made everything so much harder. But it was also one of the most unique days. We started with the unreal turquoise waters of Humantay Lake, climbed past glaciers, and gazed up at the largest mountains I’ve ever seen! Have you ever considered hiking the Salkantay in Peru? @mapo_tapo #salkantaytrek #travelperu #adventuretravelblogger

This is hands down one of the most rewarding hikes we’ve ever done in British Columbia 🥹⛰️ But fair warning… you definitely have to earn this view. Panorama Ridge starts from the Rubble Creek trailhead along the Sea to Sky Highway before climbing up to Garibaldi Lake campground. Most people split the hike over 2 days, which honestly makes the experience so much better because you get to spend time swimming in the lake, camping under the mountains, and catching sunset from Panorama Ridge 🥾 Distance: 31.4km return ⛰️ Elevation Gain: 1,525m ⏰ Time: Usually 2 days with camping (or a VERY long day hike) we actually spent 2 nights there which was perfect! The final climb to the top is SO worth it though. Seeing Garibaldi Lake glowing bright blue along with Black Tusk at sunset genuinely feels unreal. A few things you need to know before doing it: 🐻 Bring bear spray + a headlamp 🏕️ Camping permits book up FAST in summer 🌼 Late July/August is wildflower season and it’s stunning 🥶 The weather can change really quickly at the top Would you do this hike? 👀 #canadianbloggers #travelbloggers #vancouverinfluencer #vancouvercreator #hikebc

Come with us to hike the Berg Lake Trail! Day 0 of our Berg Lake adventure 🏔️🥾 If you’re hiking the Berg Lake Trail, I highly recommend staying nearby the night before so you can get an early start on the trail. 📍 The closest town is Valemount, which is about 30 minutes from the trailhead. The closest campgrounds are Robson Meadows Campground and Robson River Campground. You can book a campsite ahead of time, or take your chances with a walk-in site. We arrived in the early evening and luckily there were still a couple of spots available! 🙌 🚗 Vancouver → Berg Lake Trailhead: ~7 hours ⛺️ Camping: $28 per night 💵 Bring cash for the campground. Robson Meadows Campground was literally 2 minutes from the visitors centre and while there was no reception in the campground, the visitors centre parking lot had plenty. 😉 We grabbed food in Valemount before heading to camp, set up our tent and got an early night because tomorrow we are hiking 16km to Emperor Campground! Save this for your Berg Lake trip & follow along for Day 1 👀 #BergLake #BergLakeTrail #MountRobson #mountrobsonprovincialpark #canadianinfluencer
